We went for my birthday Nov 2024. I used to go here when it was still opinions and it got so bad I stopped going. I’ve been 3 times since it became sorties. John needs to come back and resave this Bar! Kitchen is closed, no food. You can have pizza delivered. The tables are all peeling, like 7 people in the whole bar for the 1 hour that I was there, the bartender he could care less and the other lady bartender, that was working she was ok, but yeah, overall, i’m a little disappointed at this bar took another dive after the show. Walls had paint peeling and floor was dirty and the ladies bathroom was nasty. And I served in the Air Force, both my parents served in the Air Force, all 3 of my brothers served in the military. They joined the Marine Corps. I’m really disappointed and a few locals or regulars that were there. Kinda just stared at me, my daughter and her friend. Almost the whole time, I was uncomfortable.

I gave this place a try for the first time. I was looking for a decent local bar just to hang out at. This place is uncomfortable. The regulars do a great job of making new potential customers feel unwelcome. As a military guy from outside the area, it was like an interrogation to sit there. Definitely the most unwelcoming place I’ve visited in the local area.

Stay clear of this “tavern.” The food is subpar and really greasy. I’m not sure if they changed the cooking oil in a few months, my fries were saturated in it. I couldn’t finish them.
The bartender does not know how to make drinks and is quite rude. It was almost like I was a burden to them that I wanted to order a drink. The drinks are very watered down.
The place is not very well lit and not clean. The bathroom (mens) was grimey and smelt like old piss.
The patrons that go to this this place are not very welcoming either. If you’re a newcomer they stare at you. Very uncomfortable. I stayed for about a half hour and then I left.
There are plenty of places that are much friendlier. I went over to “Filipino Fusion” just about a stones throw away from this place and got better bar service.

The bar crowd is pretty fun here but the bartender Amy is very rude and she does not make great drinks. Every drink I purchased tasted watered down and as if there was no alcohol in it. To top it off Amy was so rude every time I ordered so I stopped tipping her. I also started reverting to shots to avoid getting watered down drinks. When I did purchase 5 or 6 tequila shots for my group I asked her for lime and salt while she was giving them to us. Amy responded with an attitude, “I need to help them first.” (It was a a group that hadn’t even ordered a drink yet.) we waited about 5 or 6 minutes and she never came back over to give us the lime and salt. The guy bartenders notice us waiting and asked if we needed any help. I told him we’d been waiting 5 or so minutes for just lime and salt. He was really friendly and apologize to us for having to wait so long and gave us the lime and salt. I have been to this bar about 4 or so times over the course of a couple months and all times Amy was rude and unfriendly. I made sure to learn who she was because I wanted to be ensure I put the right name on this review.
I absolutely refuse to tip Amy because of her horrible attitude. I make plenty of money to tip very well but I am not going to tip someone my hard earned money who has a horrible attitude. Ever since my first visit I have stopped tipping her and as I do visit in the future I will only be tipping the guy and the other girl who are actually nice people. Good job ruining your tips Amy! The only tip I can give you is you’ll catch more bee’s with honey. Learn some customer service and put a smile on. You’re at work! We are coming to the bar to have a good time not deal with a bartender with a bad attitude expecting a tip. I hope this review helps you improve your services.

My brother in law and I came in Last week and was immediately not very impressed. No greeting by staff when we walked in which left us very confused about where to go. We were immediately confronted by another guest who what already very drunk by the time we walked into the bar. We found a seat at the bar and ordered a couple of beers. The beers tasted a little off, but considering my unfamiliarity with that particular brand of beer, I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. While drinking our beers we were continued to be harassed by the same guest that confronted us when we walked in (already went through another drink). Two more drinks later the lady left and things got much better. The bartender overall was very friendly and was great for casual bar conversation as well as many of the other late night guests which appeared to be very consistent regulars.
The two stars are mostly for the one roudy guest (whom later gave a different guest a lap dance and went home with another). Beyond this one individual, the experience was 3-4 stars easy.

Update: Met with the owner today, mentioned my concerns, we may visit the bar another time. There’s two sides to every story.
Stopped by Sorties yesterday (after our barn visit) and apparently must have walked into a private bday party, while we understood they no longer serve monster dogs as the vendor/owner took the business mobile and sells out of a food truck. We’ll catch up with them later at whatever location they will be. We couldn’t get the bartender to even sell us a coke, caught up in conversation with a few friends (about 6) around the bar. Someone I knew (won’t mention her name) sitting at the bar tried to point to the bartender that John had left our table to stand at the bar, eventually sitting at the bar directly in front of the bartender and wasn’t waited on. I guess he didn’t want or need our business yesterday he looked like he may have had a beer or two himself as he was and remained facing the front door when we walked in. One of the patrons trying to help us offered up her charcuterie tray and cake she brought in for the party, she tried. They must have had a great party.
We had stopped by there in the past when monster was there, bar bustling people having a great time. Must have been an off/down day. But if this is whats to come, come back Jon Taffer. They really need to open up their kitchen, if even for quick food that someone could make if not fully staffed.
We went to Walmart and bought our own hotdog stuff and ate at home.

Walked in and immediately sprouted a thick mustache. The guys in the bar immediately jumped up and grabbed my forearm and hugged me in a viking like manner. The bar tender cleared a table so we could aggressively arm wrestle and show off our massive biceps. Amazing experience, minus 1 star because I was born a woman and had blessed with an amazing set.
