Another new destination on our endless quest. This is a nice little place, in a quiet little city. The staff was super friendly and nice. There is a crazy amount to choose from on the menu. For starters, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese might be the best I have ever had. I think the secret is the flash deep fry, but they were outstanding. The french onion soup was crazy hot but was good. The chili was hearty and had a great flavor. The prime rib special seemed like a good price for what you got. Mushrooms, onions, and horseradish gave it a great taste. They ran out of the item for my other entree and had to order something different. I got the New York strip and it turned out to be a big mistake. It did not look like beef and was very tough. I would come again, but no more steak.

Very busy but we got seated quickly. Waitress came in a few minutes to get our order. Food came out fairly quick with large portions. Very tasty. Excellent experience.

Waited forever for our food (chicken salad sandwich and a fish sandwich). Chicken salad was already made up, just throw some on a couple of pieces of toast. When the fish finally showed up there were two dinky pieces that could have been eaten in two bites. Owner was there but evidently wasn’t concerned enough to walk around and ask patrons if they enjoyed their meal. Used to go once a week – probably not any more.

This place has become one of our regulars on rotation and we love it! The staff is always super friendly, it’s nice and clean and the food is home style and delicious!! My top picks (so far) are the Prime Rib dinner and the Bacon Blue burger with tots! The Reuben Sandwich and their Pork chops are must haves as well! If you like strawberries, the Red Eye Margarita will not disappoint!

We haven’t been here that often in the past, but we stopped last Tuesday for a specialty burger with fries. Great taste, excellent service and the owner stopped by to chat and check on us. So we came back tonight for the prime rib special. Excellent taste, perfectly cooked, and great service to match. Wow. We’ll be here more often in the future.

The Kohlers do a great job! There’s a great variety of affordable food and rotating taps keep the beer selection fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly and there are a lot of regulars who aren’t afraid of a little chitchat if you decide to sit at the bar. My favorite place in Fremont, bar none.
