Good food, good atmosphere, good service. I ordered an adult grilled cheese combo with potato salad, the potato salad was great, the grilled cheese on white tasted homemade, it was good but not out of this world. It came with a dill pickle spear as well, overall delicious experience for $13.50.
The bathroom is very spacious single person restroom. Plenty of room inside for ADA and wheelchair users. Good local sandwich shop.
I like how some of the booths have a charger plug underneath, for emergency charging situations, that’s nice.

First time coming here and was praised by a coworker. Had the “Cuban” and it hit the spot. Great good size sandwich with plenty of meat. I also had German potato salad ( cold or hot ) I had it cold but I think if it was hot it would have been a lot better! (Still tasted great). No complaints! Everything was just right!

I called and was told to bring it back and they would add more meat which was fine. I drove 12 mins back to the store and the rude pink hair lady at front rolled her eyes and went and got the “manager”. The manager was non apologetic and said it is what it is pretty much. No offer to remake or charge me more for an actual sandwich.
I wasted 36 mins driving there and back for no reason. I will not be ordering any longer from here. They lost a good customer today.

I am giving 3 stars because I didn’t hate it, but I also didn’t love it. I had higher hopes because of the reviews and I found it just mediocre. I got the turkey and cranberry sandwich, chips, drink and the bread pudding. The bread pudding wasn’t as big as some made it sound and it was decent but not great. The portion size was a bit smaller than I have seen on social media. It also didn’t look all that appeasing but tasted better than it looked, the sandwich was OK. Like I said it wasn’t bad but I gave it a try and I think it was a one and done for me unfortunately.

Was referred here by a friend. Was not disappointed. I ordered knuckle sandwich, pot roast. This was one of the best sandwiches I have had! Wife got the BLT. She said it was the best she has had. I would highly recommend this place the service is phenomenal great food great ambiance

It was a delicious sandwich. I got the Hero which is essentially a loaded Italian. The bread was good which is a big deal, too often that’s left behind in a good sandwich. I also like that there is just one size, made selecting it easier. However, that size is very large so if you don’t have an appetite splitting is a good option. The service was good but their registers were down for a moment so we had to wait to order.

6/7/25: Short version – drove 30 miles to try Knuckle Sandwiches and we would do it again. Very color restaurant inside, pretty wide patio (no misters), fun artwork & decor, and quite a few tables for customers (but not crammed together).
Long version – the gal behind the counter (sorry for not catching her name) was extremely upbeat & friendly, she started right in being all helpful with bread choices, describing the sammy sizes, and offering advice when asked “coleslaw or regular potato salad?” She said coleslaw & it was a good choice. It was the creamy type, not the vinegary type. My sister enjoyed the German potato salad.
I ordered the steak sub (sans onions), sister went with the heavyweight (three kinds of meat). Both came with a large, crunchy pickle quarter. The steak sub was loaded with meat that was well seasoned, and had just the right about of mushrooms, and a scooch of the horseradish sauce (just like the gal said it was so kudos to her again). 🙂
Everything was reasonably priced, too. I would take a Knuckle Sandwich over those other larger brand name sandwiches any day.

Their Italian sub is on par with the best we’ve had living in chicago. We go at least once a month! Extra olive oils and vinegar and it’s . The bread is also super fresh. Try their lemonade!

Amazing sandwiches. I went with 4 guys and we all got different sandwiches and we all LOVED them. The bread was so delicious. The meats were all delicious. They cook all their own meats in-house. The portion sizes are huge. I was so full, and I didn’t even get chips or soda.
