Great historical tavern with origins dating back to 1740 – plenty of parking and in addition to the tavern the property has function and entertainment space. The covered bridge over the waterway in back adds access to more parking.
The food we ordered was very flavorful – the French onion soup with its bourbon and bacon base was one of the best versions if not the best that I’ve ever had. Cocktails were also very good (mocktails also on menu) and varied.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Worldwide. Period. Go. WOW. From the fairy lit bridge that leads to the parking, to the flawless customer service, to the log cabin/grandma’s cottage vibes inside, to the mouth watering food, (the cinnamon butter!) & architecture steeped in history… it’s a whole experience you’ve got to find out for yourself. The Egopantis will be waiting for you!

We have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and have found it to be consistently excellent in every way. The food is always delicious. The service is always prompt and efficient.

Ordered takeout because we can’t leave our medically fragile son… ordered prime rib sliders and the au jus was almost empty. Not knocking stars just bc stuff may happen in transit. Just sucks because this plate is so amazing with the au jus. Love you, but please try to fix the container issues or portion of this…. saddened

Stopped in for lunch. Greeter/hostess was very friendly. We were promptly seated. Tables were beautiful hard wood and wooden barrels as bases. Lots of wood decor. Seating was a bit crowded.
Pretzel appetizer with beer cheese was great . Pot pie was tasty but sadly had no side. It should come with something for the price charged. My husband ate some of my daughter’s fries as he needed something. Burger and fries were good. Mac & cheese had good flavor but was a bit thin/ watery. It definitely needed a thicker cheese or thickening agent.
Drinks were pretty and made correctly.

Go to Burger King. The food was good. Service was adequate. The ambiance was delightful. Prices very reasonable. The live music was like having a fighter jet screaming in your ears. We only enjoyed our time when the musician was on break. We won’t be back. If you choose to go, go alone and bring earplugs.

I would love to leave 5 stars because the turkey dinner was amazing, but I advise not getting it to go. Was served in a cardboard box and the gravy could be on the side. Not as big a portion as if you were to eat there. I expected a little more for 60 bucks for 2 turkey dinners with a $10 tip on a pick up order.

Pleasant Father’s Day experience. I love the vintage look of this place. So rustic and beautiful . Plenty parking, pleasant staff, lots of seating inside and outside. We sat inside. Lots to choose from on the menu. Food was ok, I didn’t rave but I’d go back to try other things. No wait for food, good
food temps and average price.

A little shy on spices for my taste but the quality well prepared ingredients carried the flavor. Bull run was a wonderful rustic experience, with a lovely covered bridge, truly a multi functional center. Looking forward to the Easter and Mother’s Day buffet.
