I enjoy African cuisine frequently. I placed an order on DoorDash for pickup and someone stole my food. The owner was VERY RUDE. Unprofessional and yelled at me. “This is my business not DoorDash”. I was married to a man from west Africa so I understand the culture and it was an expensive meal to prepare. But it’s not my fault someone stole my food. She said DoorDash picked it up already when I had it set for customer pickup. She refused to work with me and even got hostile. There are so many African restaurants now that this type of customer service will not be tolerated by me. Especially paying $30 for a plate. I will spend my money at African Best, Mashallah, Eden and Kissi, or cook at home before I give this establishment my business again… the food was mid-decent but the horrible customer service over shadowed how pleasurable the meal should and could’ve been.

I loved all the food here it was so good. The woman who owned the restaurant was so sweet and she upfront told us it would be awhile because it was just her as the cook and cashier. I didn’t mind because our food came out so fresh and delicious! I know it was a little pricy but well worth the money.

I walked to try this retaurantbut unfortunately the girl that took my order rather loose $37 instead of looking for change out of 50$..first she greeted me with bad attitude since i am not african i was just wanted to try something new. I was asking lots of questions about the food the girl was frustrated over that.

i ordered delivery on uber eats. i’ve had west african home cooked food in west africa so my expectations were high but man did she exceed those expectations ! i got the “fufu and soup”, wasn’t sure what kind of soup it would be but it was a mix of poultry and seafood i think. fufu was perfect, everything tasted very good, just the right amount of spice. definitely recommend!

I had Jollof Rice and Chicken. The chicken was a roasted hind quarter. It included slaw, and a mound of rice. It was all very good, prepared and served hot. The meal cost $19.

Was craving African food so bad today and drove 30-45 minutes to this place to get some egusi soup and another dish for my husband, paid $30 for the egusi soup because i didn’t want the meat, the soup was mid at best didn’t taste very fresh, my husband’s dish was also very mid to say it best not nasty at all but just not hitting on what it should, we know African food and how it should taste!! For the price i will definitely never be back!
