Kizuki Ramen’s philosophy is to serve the most traditional, authentic and delicious Japanese ramen that you can possibly have without actually flying to Japan. Kizuki’s food is still prepared the same way as it is in Japan; utilizing an unique method of roasting bones before boiling. Similar to the French style of making consomme, they were the first in the Japanese ramen industry to employ this method. The result is a rich, flavorful broth that is fragrant, and full of depth. Devoted to replicating the incredible flavor of traditional Japanese ramen, if equal substitutes for ingredients are not found within the country, Kizuki Ramen imports the ingredients directly from Japan.

This is my second time at this location. We put our name in the kiosk and took the servers a few minutes to recognize we were waiting to be seated; it wasn’t busy at the time. We ordered wings, spinach with sesame dressing, and their signature ramen. The wings were good and I like the citrus flavor to make it taste more refreshing. The spinach side dish was good to complement the wings to make it less greasy. It was a bit too sweet but overall, I still enjoy the dish. I got the garlic tonkatsu ramen and it came with fatty chashu, which was so much better than the other location I tried recently with the lean meat and it was not very satisfying. I like the texture of the ramen and the broth has a lot of flavor; still a bit too salty for me even with less sodium.

Good ramen joint! The miso ramen was a bit too salty for me, but was otherwise solid. The drinks are strong and the appetizers were great. My favorite was the pork belly bao bun. Loved it.

I was surprised by how great the ramen broth was for the Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. There was a great depth of flavour and the ramen noodles were cooked to perfection. The cocktail menu was great as well. Overall, a great place for ramen.
