Must-try: Spicy Ramen (旨辛タンタンラーメン)

Had the Spicy Ramen (旨辛タンタンラーメン) and it was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful broth with just the right level of spice, perfectly chewy noodles, and a nice balance of sesame and ground pork. The spice hits in a good way — warm and comforting, not overwhelming.
The restaurant is quite small and usually packed, so if you don’t book ahead on Yelp, expect a long wait, especially during lunch or dinner rush.

⏳ Service note:
If you order appetizers, they usually come out together with the main dish, probably because of the limited kitchen space and high volume of customers — so plan your order timing accordingly.

The Spicy Miso Ramen was absolutely delicious and the staff was lovely. Worth going back!

Edit: Went back, the ramen was even spicier than I remember and I discovered they offer soft boiled eggs, my favorite. The staff was awesome and I will be back again!

you’re my miracle
i ordered spicy tan tan ramen.
Quantity is big and temperature is hot.
(I love this 2 things) but meat and soup is tooooooo salty.
I don’t know its normal for ramen.
People like salty ramen?
Extremely not for my family.
I will try the other ramen if i go here next time again.

Worst part of our experience was waiting for other people to leave so that we could get in! You know how sometimes the vegan option at Ramen places isn’t that good? Well, not here. The creamy vegan Ramen was amazing. Rich flavor. My daughter and her friends loved their Ramen as well.

The food is not astounding, but not bad either. It tastes a lot more Chinese than I would normally expect from a Ramen restaurant though. The Boiled Veggie Ramen especially, is straight up a Chinese noodle dish I’m pretty sure. Their fried chicken dish/karage came in chunks the size of my palm. Not necessarily a bad thing (it tasted fine), but it did make it a bit hard to fit in my mouth.

First time at this restaurant and we loved every bit of it. The food, service, atmosphere, comfort, wait time, and authenticity. Best Ramen in OC!

A solid option for ramen, they feature kitakata style ramen, which is a soy sauce base with BBQ pork and wavy noodles. This is a good spot if you want ramen but not the heaviness of tonkotsu. As a ramen place, it’s not bad. My favorite thing here is the asahi super dry, for some reason it tastes extra crisp here.

Happened upon this place because I was having service done on my car nearby at Toyota and asked the guys for ramen recommendations. The place is really cute and servers were friendly. I ordered for takeout and service was quick! It even came with heating instructions for the ramen which they separated the noodles from the broth (yay!). The server made good suggestions and I agree with other reviewers that their ramen was delicious! Will definitely come here again when I’m in the area.

I ordered the Green Chili Shio Ramen and the lunch Gyoza. Both were very delicious. The Green Chili Shio Ramen was spicy but they warn you about that on the menu. I love spicy so I enjoyed it. They offer to put the heat on the side if you are a little shy of the heat. The place was very clean, the staff very friendly. I walked in 8 minutes before they close for 2 hours between lunch and dinner and I never felt rushed.

It was a very busy Sunday at 530 and everything was fantastic. We (party of 2) had a mix up with the open table list but it was handled quickly and courteously by the host. Our orders were taken and ramen was served promptly. The ramen here is the best I’ve had in the surrounding area. I’d have to drive to SD to top this place. Love it.
