My friends and I just finished eating at Kismet Mediterranean Grill, and everything about the experience was amazing. I ordered the grilled salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. Their homemade sauce paired so well with the salmon and really elevated the dish. We also shared the baklava for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the interior is gorgeous, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, everything exceeded our expectations.
We truly had an amazing time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in Albany and looking for excellent Mediterranean food!

First visit. Open table messed up reservation time, so we were 45 minutes early: Not an issue, they found us the only remaining table. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Service was very good. Loved our entrees. The menu has enough choices, we have to go back and explore further. Definitely recommend.

We went for lunch and ordered the Meze Platter, Grilled Chicken Bowl, Dolma, Falafel, Lamb Shish, baklava and the blueberry creme brulee. Absolutely delicious! The ambiance is very cozy and the service so welcoming and accommodating. Authentically decorated. Looks like we found our favorite restaurant in Albany! Would definitely recommend coming to Kismet and we will be back for sure. Thank you for the delicious food and great service!

Last week, we were fortunate to discover this restaurant online. Although it took us an hour to drive there, it was absolutely worth the trip. The food was delicious and authentically reflected the cuisine of its country of origin. The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, made sure we got exactly what we wanted, even switched out some ingredients to match our preferences. Finding vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary options was easy. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great spot for either a casual meal or a special occasion.

The food was 5 stars across the board. We started with the Mezze Platter, the Cigar Rolls and the Falafel. All were fantastic. The falafel were completely authentic and delicious. The pita was warm and soft and the cigar rolls were crispy! All of our entrees were excellent. The baklava and the blueberry crème brûlée were a perfect ending! Be aware it is beer and wine only, which don’t bother us but just be aware! Will absolutely be coming back!
