Kiraboos Shaved Ice – A Sweet Surprise in Ellisville!
So, we finally made it over to Kiraboos Shaved Ice in Ellisville, and let me tell you—it was everything I didn’t know I needed on a warm day. Located in the Ellisville Square Plaza, this little spot is serving up some serious authentic Hawaiian shave ice right here in West County
We were there for their current Flavor Wars special: Cookie vs. Brownie.
Oreo Cookie Cake: Imagine a cookie cake snoball stuffed with Blue Cookie Monster ice cream, topped with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles, marshmallow drizzle, and real Oreo bites. It was like diving into a sweet, creamy dream.
Brownie Toffee Crunch: This one featured a chocolate toffee bar snoball stuffed with Brookie Dough ice cream, whipped cream, brownie and toffee bites, finished with caramel and chocolate drizzle. Rich, decadent, and absolutely delightful.
Both were insanely good!
What makes Kiraboos even more special is its backstory. The name “Kiraboo” comes from the owner’s childhood nickname, and her dream of owning a shave ice stand has truly come to life. With over 40 flavors of the classics- plus the signature specials and the options to “stuff” your snoball with premium ice cream, and a variety of toppings, there’s something for everyone—even treats for your pup!
Kiraboos Shaved Ice is a local gem that’s bringing a taste of Hawaii to West County and I can’t recommend it enough!

I simply cannot say enough good things about Kiraboo’s! The texture of the snow is unreal, and their flavor combos are perfection: the Gooey Looey is *chef’s kiss*. You can tell they put a lot of thought into what they serve, and it shows.

My husband and I used to hang out there as friends before we ever started dating, and now we bring our baby with us. UPDATE – you were so kind in your reply and I went a bit overboard. I apologize. You have a great product, we love going, and I will be back :). One tip that’s very noticeable – I would try to focus on any way to make the process of making them more efficient though. It’s extremely slow when even 5-10 people show up and they get overwhelmed quickly. Very nice and great staff though! The product is AMAZING. Nothing else like it and they look gorgeous.

I love this business as I stop by on my way home from any store during a hard days work. The shaved ice is a great refresher and my kids are older and I live to see all the families hanging out together! Sweetest family business to support!

Fantastic! The best shaved ice I’ve ever had, and our family’s favorite dessert spot in the St. Louis area, especially on a hot summer day. Perfect for families—our kids (7, 5, and 2) are always excited to go! We love the wide range of flavors and toppings (including ice cream), and nothing beats the fun and relaxed atmosphere, sitting in the sun or under the shade to enjoy with family and friends. The portions are generous and the service is top-notch too. Highly recommended!

My absolute favorite shaved ice spot! So many delicious flavors and combinations. I love that the menu includes options both with and without ice cream. So I’m able to decide each visit if I’m in the mood for a sweet treat, or a full-on dessert.
The service is fantastic as well. Even when packed, I’ve never waited long before receiving my order. And the couple who own the place are always so friendly and helpful. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Absolute favorite shaved ice, will literally pass multiple other shaved ice/snow cone places just to get here Getting them stuffed with ice cream is the move. They ice is good, but every single time I come here they short me and I whoever I come with on flavor. I’m seeing in other reviews that this is actually pretty common, for somewhere that just sells shaved ice to consistently mess up how much flavor they put in is interesting. The people seem nice enough too but only having flavor on top kinda ruins the whole experience and purpose of getting shaved ice.
