Definitely coming back for the ramen. So delicious and rich. I picked the pork, pork was decent. I wish i had more seaweed and they put a touch of gold flake to be fancy. It was very pretty. Sushi was very good. Raw only. Deep fried wasnt good. Not enough in the roll. However raw sushi rolls were perfecto. Also their dumplings were so good, I should of gotten more. (They pan sear, light dough) So yummy! A lot of room for groups and/or celebrations.

I love this place great food. I like to build my own individual ramen bowl at home using their ingredients. I love Tonkotsu ramen, but the pork broth is a little to funky for me here. I think the broth is not being processed properly for that real pork ramen flavor, but other than that I love the 2 for $22. You get a main coarse with an appetizer for $22 which is an amazing deal. So if you’re ever in Gainesville, Fl check this place out.

We visited Kinya Ramen Saturday night and it was a wonderful experience! We’ve heard great things about Kinya from our friends and they did not disappoint. Walking in, the first thing that catches your eye is the fun decorations they have set around. They have cute Shin-Chan statue decorations as soon as you walk in and they have lots of anime-themed posters and cute lanterns hanging from the ceiling. They also had anime-themed music playing in the background and I appreciate how they were playing the music at a reasonable noise level.

There was no wait and we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and sat down at a table. We were then immediately given drinks by our friendly server. Even though Kinya is obviously known for their ramen, don’t be hesitant to try out on their sushi as well! We got the love boat and they were very accommodating about what we could switch out on the boat and I was very appreciate of that! The wait time was not long at all for the sushi and I was pleasantly surprised when the sushi came out.

The presentation was beautiful and I could tell the sushi chefs take pride in their work. Even the garnish was placed nicely around. The sashimi pieces were THICK! They did not skimp out at all when it came to that. The other sushi places I’ve been to will give a moderate amount of fish but Kinya was very generous with it. Each slice of sashimi at Kinya was like a normal slice of 2-3 pieces of sashimi at other places. The fish was very fresh and the salmon sashimi almost had a buttery taste, it was that fresh and good! The Ocean Dream Roll was also super delicious! Seared raw scallops and white fish on top with a creamy white sauce and the crisp cucumber helped cut some of the rich flavor to create the perfect combo and balance of flavors; definitely my favorite thing! The nigiri and salmon roll was delicious too! There were many other kinds of fish I didn’t even know the name to on there, but all I know was that they were delicious. It was A LOT of food and my friend and I were stuffed.

Service was very good, everyone was very attentive and kind. We will definitely come back next time to try their ramen and yakitori!

The server we had was really nice and attentive even while serving multiple tables. The ramen I got was really good as the pork was thick and cooked to perfection. Overall, this place is a great stop for ramen noodles.

Best ramen in Gainesville! I love their ramen combo option. I usually get their tonkotsu ramen with takoyaki. A delightful pairing that works well with a pot of tea, sake, or beer. I’m not the biggest pork belly person, but even I cannot deny how good their chashu pork is with their flavorful ramen.

The sashimi sampler was a good amount of fish for the price. No complaints there.

You also can’t go wrong with their yakitori. Their momo is a good option for picky eaters, and their chicken hearts are good if you are a little more adventurous.

The atmosphere can be a little lively, depending on the night, but it can also be more chill. It really depends on the evening.

Overall, a great option for a group of friends to share appetizers, eat some ramen or sushi, and enjoy a drink or two.

Best ramen I’ve had in N Florida. They were right to name it gold. We had 2 ramen bowls, 2 Boba tea, 2 sushi rolls, tea, and an appetizer. Everything was amazing
