The servers are nice, but there were not enough of them on the floor, so it was quite hectic.

The food is decent, though the portions leave much to be desired (especially given the prices). As for the drinks, only the coffee, yin-yeung, and milk teas are included in the combos – everything else (e.g., lemon tea, Horlick, almond drink) has a minimum $0.50 surcharge.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for a while, but after my visit three days ago, I won’t be returning. The service was unprofessional from the start. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we were ignored for a long time, then told to move tables for no apparent reason.
The most bizarre part was when the server demanded we pay the $66 bill before the food even arrived, claiming they were “closing early”—yet she didn’t ask the customers who arrived after us to do the same. After a 5-minute argument, I paid half upfront just to get my meal. It then took an hour for the food to arrive, and the courses were served out of order (soup came after the main).
To make matters worse, the chicken was served raw and bloody. Even after sending it back, the replacement was still undercooked. I ended up having to take it home to cook it myself just so I didn’t waste my money. When my girlfriend politely asked for the server’s name before we left, she was completely ignored.
Waiting over an hour for undercooked food and being ignored by the staff is not the experience a regular customer expects. I won’t be back. Truly disappointing to see a favorite spot go downhill like this.

Decent authentic HK style food! We had 3 baked rice and spaghetti dishes, which were generous portions and tasty. And the beef stir fry on rice noodles was good too.

It was a bit slow because they didn’t have many servers. And I would recommend eating earlier for lunch and dinner as parking is pretty limited.

Tried Kingspark Steak House and had a pretty good experience. Ordered the baked spaghetti bolognese, tomato and cream baked rice, and their cream soup. The soup was really good—rich and flavorful. The spaghetti was tasty, but the baked rice was just okay. Also had the milk tea, which was decent. The service was friendly, and the restaurant is quite spacious with comfortable seating. Prices are reasonable for the portions and quality. Overall, it’s a solid 4-star spot for a casual meal. Would come back for the soup and spaghetti!

Simple, relaxed atmosphere. Huge menu with lots of variety. It took us a while to decide on what to eat as we wanted to get one of everything, lol. There is light, Western style fare like ham sandwiches and fries, to more elevated dishes like ribeye steak and lobster.

In the end, we made good decisions, because the food was awesome. We got Thai style fried rice with chicken, and baked minced pork spaghetti with ham/chicken/broccoli (I chose chicken).

First off, the portion sizes were beautiful. I loathe leaving restaurants still hungry so it was a pleasant surprise. The food was piping hot.

The fried rice was unassumimg, but it exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly hot, bursting with depth of flavor but not overly salty, with the most tender chunks of meat. It was sweet and smoky and savory. I forgot how good fried rice could be!

The baked spaghetti dish took a bit longer but it is clearly stated out in the menu as such. When it arrived, it was still sizzling! It had a nice layer of sizzling cheese on top. The flavor was very good, a comfort food, not as complex as the fried rice but considering as I’m frequently disappointed by restaurant pasta dishes, this was very well done. The chicken pieces were bites of succulent perfection.

The service was not the most enthusiastic but it seemed to me that it may have been more reflective of a prior bad exchange that day. Speaking as someone who has had good days ruined from bad customers.

The price was very right when compared to the nearby restaurants that we were also considering.

Cash, debit and credit is all accepted.

My partner loved this place and said he will definitely be coming back. That took me as a surprise as he’s not easy to impress!!

As for me, I am still thinking about the amazing fried rice…

Review Update: July 2024 – I went to Kingspark for breakfast and this time it was horrible. The macaroni with sliced ham was super salty. The soup base was salty as if I was eating sea water. Yeah it was THAT BAD. There was no taste to the food except SALTY. This latest experience left a salty taste. It will be a long time before I come back to this restaurant again.

Another typical Hong Kong style cafe in Richmond. Interior decor looks the same as when it was opened about 13 years ago. Definitely needs a renovation but still in fair condition. Food quality and quantity is good for the price thus I gave 4 stars for food. Lack of parking especially during busy hours. Service was OK. The server brought the food over and leaves….typical Cantonese style of service which I like This was the only restaurant I know of that opens early for breakfast on Boxing Day. Good job! Thus 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Basic Hong Kong style cafe, but it gets the job done without having to wait in long queues like so many other places in the area. Service was prompt, but not warm. Not a big deal. Food came really fast. Very good HK milk tea. And prices are fair.

It hit the spot, and tasted good. That’s all I can ask for. I had one singular goal for the meal and this accomplished that quickly and reasonably, so I’m content.

The ox tongue spaghetti is nice. The sauce strikes a balance between sweet and sour. The chef is also generous in providing the food.

The seafood fried noodle also demonstrates the chef’s skills. The fried noodle is crispy but not oily. The chef is also generous in providing the food.

The Hong Kong style milk tea is also silky.

Indeed generosity is a trademark of this restaurant. We can pack the leftovers for another meal. Having regard to the high cost of living in British Columbia, the food is worthy for money as the price for a single dish can be spread into two meals.

Social distance is also practiced in this restaurant.

Currently my favorite Hong-Kong styled restaurant. I have tried many different Hong-Kong styled once, but this one struck me the most delicious and price fair place. I have been to this place more than once, and they have combos that come with soup, a drink, and the meal itself.

They are very casual with you, and it seems more like a family dining restaurant. However I would definitely come here to chill and to grab something casual and delicious.

Food was a bit bland, but it didn’t bother me very much.

Taste: 5/5
