Dropped in on my walk from SC, the restaurant was pretty much empty when I was seated, so I had no Issue with waiting unlike some of the other reviewers.

We liked the place at first sight and decided to book a table right away for the next day. We ate poll asado and papas arrugadas, both dished overwent our expectations! Just go and try it out, won’t be disapponted!

We had lunch at the restaurant. The waitress and waiters were all very friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely excellent. We sat outside on a lovely little place between the ancient church and the Casa de los Romeros, but had to flee inside at the end because of a thunderstorm. We had several entrees, as we wanted to try as much as possible, otherwise it would have been easily possible to eat for less than 20 € each.

Restaurant typical local. BBQ/Asado. Meat from own farming (pork). Great food. Also typical local starters like baked goat cheese, soups, potatoes (papas arrugadas).
Absolutely fine: Blood sausage, with almonds (morcilla).
Fantastic local wine!
Kind people. Hope to return. Always again. I will never forget. Easy-going. No tourists, many locals, favor place to be. Muchos gracias!
