We chose this place for our engagement anniversary and we love trying different restaurants. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation snd were seated promptly. The place was maybe 30% full at 6pm Dec 21st. Our server took nearly 15 minutes to greet us, she did apologize but service was still slow. Our plates were also dirty at the table with food specs crusted on them. I ordered the mahi mahi with mashed potatoes and carrots. Great choice but would try something different next time. I would also skip the mashed potatoes as they didn’t taste fresh and were a small portion like one tablespoon. The prices felt pretty high for the experience we were having. My fiancee’s shrimp pasta was a really good size but had a lot of tomatoes. We really enjoyed the atmosphere but people were wearing cargo pants, t-shirts, and camo hats. For the prices I am paying, I do expect a certain level of dress code and for the food quality and quantity to step up another level. I would only come back to try a different fish and we’d hope the service experience was just a fluke on our first time.

I loved this place last year, but today was beyond exceptional. Ashley is a gem of a human. Her suggestions and service are above and beyond. She had amazing oyster recommendations and even brought us one more of our favorites on the house. She was constantly checking on us and taking care of anything we needed. And dessert on the house for our anniversary, the butter cake was to die for. I highly recommend for any special celebration or if you’re just feeling fancy.

The atmosphere is very calm. I sat outside. One thing that brought the atmosphere down was dirty dishes next to my table that sat there the entire time I was there.
I had the calamari as an appetizer. The price point of 19 maybe a little pricey. Wonderfully cooked. Not chewy and the batter had a wonderful delicate taste. Unfortunately. The two accompanying sauces were not up to par. The one sauce that is supposed to be like an Asian sauce was very thin. It was like a sweet chili and sour orange chicken sauce. It was very confusing. The other sauce which I believe was a roasted bell pepper sauce. They could have gone with a little bit more of a kick and it was a little bland. I think instead of that Asian dip they could do an avocado mint lime. And definitely spice up the other sauce.
For the entree I had beer, batter, fish and chips. My usual go-to for my first trip to a seafood restaurant. I’ve run across many restaurants that do not know how to do beer batter fish correctly. Sadly that includes fish and chips I’ve had in England. This experience was no exception. I was surprised about the portion size for the fish and chips as it runs at $30 for three pieces. It was one of the most expensive items on the menu. The oil was not hot enough. It was crispy but saturated with oil. The inside was cooked perfectly. The coleslaw served had a basic mayonnaise taste. The fries served were cooked perfectly and had a great texture.
Dessert it was suggested that I have the butter cake. It came a la mode. The cake was definitely worth the 15 bucks. I was rich with acisp cousin he outside. It had a raspberry sauce on the bottom. Not too sweet. Not overwhelming. The ice cream had little ice crystals. Not sure if it’s homemade or not. The taste was really good. Just ice crystals. Whipped topping on the side. Great combination.
The menu is extensive with their their seafood selection. I’m excited to be able to come back and try other selections. Mainly the halibut or the mahi-mahi. I’m told to come during halibut season. For the best, halibut.

A great variety of good oysters. I frequently order the sea bass and no matter with preparation, they get it right. My grand kids loved the fish & chips and Mac & Cheese. Atmosphere has a good vibe and service is always good. A little pricey BUT worth it. Good job King Fish!

It has been one of my favourite places growing up. Every time my family and I visit Phoenix, I can’t miss the time going to this amazing restaurant, which is always good and always never disappoints.
I love their King Crabs with the sides of MacNChees and asparagus. Their calamari is amazing. Sadly, they removed their original seafood combo. My family and I used to order two of them every time for our appetizer; if this original dish was back, it would make the experience 10 times better. Their sushi is fresh and always tasty. Not to mention, their starter Sourdough Bread is always exceptional. The place is really pretty; definitely, somewhere you enjoy being at. The environment is perfect as well with the good service. You’re paying for what you’re getting. Wish they have one of these in Canada!

This place has phenomenal staff, an amazing atmosphere, and exquisite food! My wife was very cold in our outdoor seating and the staff were so kind and understanding, that they found us an inside seat. John was our server, he was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu items. This is for sure going to become one of our go-to places. It’s hard to find customer service this good in 2026.

Awesome daddy daughter date night kings really made it special! My daughter was very interested in the live lobsters the staff noticed this and brought one out for a meet and greet even had it do a cool trick and hold a fork for her, absolutely above and beyond my expectations and a way to make our short time there memorable. Food was fantastic as well my daughter was ecstatic about the butter noodles and milk and my dungeons crab was great as well! Bravo guys!

I haven’t been here in many years and was anxious to go back. We went to meet friends there for dinner. We got a really nice calamari for an appetizer that was really delicious. All of our meals were exceptional. Well cooked with good sides. If it happens to be a cooler time of year this would be a wonderful place to sit on the patio.

Great service. They have a variety of children’s meals which is nice if your kids don’t like fish. I had the salmon with brussels sprouts which was delicious. The waitress was very nice and efficient. I would like to plan to go back again. They also have live lobsters and crabs in a tank.
