Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Come on now…. first let start the ordering wasn’t there. They were rushing me to order but I already knew what I wanted. They got part of my order. You tell the guy was new, you shouldn’t rush employees, if they need more training, give them more training. The guy didn’t know what he was doing and they forgot my order. Bruh… they barely gave me any fries or they just throw in the bag and didn’t care

Like most Texans I love Whataburger. But my god, whoever made my Patty Melt on 01/26/26 around 1:21pm, you are all gods amongst men. The fries, the burger, everything was so perfect, I HAD to make a review for this delightful luncheon.
The Patty melt was perfectly crafted with each essentially ingredient standing out. The fries were perfectly crisped and still had that potatoey inside goodness. The staff is definitely locked in, and deserve everything good coming to them.
Like bruh, it’s a Whataburger, but oh my god it’s peak.

20 plus minutes for a triple meat with fries and I was the only one in the drive thru at 6am. Not a good experience it’s supposed to be fast food. On top of that Luke warm fries. Will give credit for the burger being warm.

Unfortunately, this location has very long wait times. On multiple occasions, we’ve had to wait around 30 minutes just to receive our food, which is far longer than expected for fast food. Even more disappointing, the food has sometimes been cold by the time it’s served.
