We had an amazing overall experience at the King Street Oyster Bar tonight. Aside from the service being great and all of the seafood being really fresh, I had what was probably the best jambalaya that I’ve ever had in my life which includeds the jambalaya that I had while visiting New Orleans, Charleston, and Savannah. We couldn’t recommend King St Oyster Bar highly enough. The jambalaya here is a must try!

This was my second time eating here in 2 years. My first experience was unremarkable and this wasn’t any better. We tried to make reservations online for our Saturday night dinner but the site said there were no reservations. We decided to chance it and pop by. When we arrived most of the tables were empty and we were told we could dine upstairs. So not sure about the accuracy of the online reservation platform. I’m not a fan of the menu…there’s not a lot of options. We ordered the wedge salad to split and it arrived on a warm plate and the lettuce wasn’t super fresh or crispy. I ordered a glass of Chianti for $10/glass or $40/ bottle. The wine pour was very light and disappointing considering the cost. I found service to be slow and my dinner was just ok. The laid back vibe is charming and inviting but overall, I was disappointed.

We stopped by here on our visit to Middleburg on a Sunday. The wait to be seated was very long and they only take reservations for a certain party size. We were told the wait will be 45 minutes but it took an hour and 20 minutes. The food was okay. We ordered Nashville chicken sandwich and fish and chips. The fish was very oily. The chicken sandwiches were better and had good heat to them. Overall it was good but definitely didn’t worth the long wait.

Went there for drinks and appitizers and was super impressed. Pleasantly busy and fun atmosphere. There is seating inside and outdoors. Some of the best food I’ve ever had.

Went for happy hour (everyday from like 3-6pm). Great deal! Everything was so fresh and by far the calamari is in my top 3. The wedge salad was super tasty with homemade Bleu cheese. Also the desserts are delicious. Not pictured, the salmon – yum. I recommend making a reservation as the place is always packed.

We enjoy the Oyster Bar very much. We had forgotten how fabulous the food is. We both enjoyed a creamy crab appetizer. My bride had a delicious Salmon with mashed cauliflower and vegetables. I had a crusted Flounder stuffed with Crab. Both were wonderful. She had pumpkin cheesecake to finish and I bread pudding with BBC vanilla sauce and white chocolate. Fabulous.

We love King St Oyster bar. They always have great food and service is great. Today we tried the happy hour menu and it was excellent. Drinks were awesome and $1 oysters were fresh and can’t be beaten. Their tuna tacos were wrapped in Radish instead of tortilla and were so refreshing. Will be going there again.

The atmosphere here is amazing. A very cool place to eat. Has two level with two small bars. One on the main level and one on the upper level. We were seated pretty quickly, but we were only 2 which is easier. There really isn’t that many tables, so expect a wait. Is it worth a very very long wait? I would say no.., is it worth a small wait? Yes. The food is very good for most items, and the service is typically good. I had the salmon BLT and my wife had a salad. Both of which were very good, and enjoyable. We also had the dip, but it came late. I thought that was just ok. A lot of folks getting the oysters, so I would imagine it is very good. They are very fresh, you can just tell from the guy making them. Sometimes if you’re eating here (especially on weekends) they get very very busy and can make mistakes (but that is anywhere). I would recommend giving it a try!

Very busy on a Sunday at around 2pm. We weren’t able to book online to reserve a table, but we were able to text the restaurant and request a table. When we arrived the host was able to seat us, granted we were told that we needed to leave in about an hour, which I thought was weird but we had plans anyway to go to wineries, so it wasn’t a big deal to us. I was glad that they were able to seat us it was just a strange request. I was not impressed with the oysters, but I am from a beach town, so my standards may be higher. They were just OK. Just be mindful that some of the sizes of the oysters were on the small side. Server – we weren’t too impressed with her. Overall, it was an all right place to eat and to try out.

Great first time experience. Stopped by for a late Sunday lunch and we’re promptly greeted and seated. Food arrived promptly. One of the dishes was cold, so they server happily and quickly sent it back to warm back up. Everything was fresh and tasted great. We were offered a dessert for the inconvenience, which the server was very eager to offer, always apologetic. Overall, good food, but great customer service. Will definitely return.
