I had an exceptional dining experience. The seasoning used was truly outstanding rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The catfish, hush puppies, and fries were among the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection with evident care and skill. I also highly recommend the strawberry banana pudding; it was the perfect finish to an already excellent meal.
Beyond the food, what stood out most was the positive energy and passion that he brings not only to his cooking but also to the community he serves. His presence is truly a blessing, and it’s clear that both the food and the connection he fosters with guests are crafted with genuine heart.

Stumbled upon this food truck in Henderson, NC! Wow, describes the food and the service! The first time I had the fish and shrimp and it was delicious. The fish tasted very fresh and was fried to a crispy perfection, my shrimp were not over cooked which is a big deal for me! My husband’s favorite is the pork chops. In all honesty we sampled just about everything over the past few months and if you like a good banana pudding don’t hesitate to try this version where they add strawberries. From the wings to the desserts everything is simply just delicious!!
The welcome, consistency in customer service and community support makes this spot an easy go to for us! Such a welcomed service in our community!

I had the absolute pleasure of grabbing lunch at King Southern Style Cooking, and wow—I was blown away! From the moment you approach the truck, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of fresh ingredients sizzling on the grill. The staff is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about their food, which shows in every bite.

King Southern Style Cooking is my FAVORITE food truck! He serves the food, hot, fresh, and well seasoned! You can taste the love and passion that go into the food! From fried wings, chicken, shrimp, and my favorite, fish, it’s all an excellent choice! You can’t go wrong with any order! Let me not forget desserts!!! His strawberry, banana pudding is THE BEST! You have to give them a try! It’s worth traveling to wherever they are! Again, THE BEST!!!

The best fried shrimp I’ve had! Whenever this food truck is out, I try my best to work my way there to get my shrimp platter. I feel the same about their fish tacos with grilled shrimp! James and Milinda are great people and always provide the best customer service to go along with the awesome food!

I’m never disappointed when I have the opportunity to get dinner from this spot. The food is cooked fresh as you order, without a long wait. The breading is not too much and not too little, giving the perfect texture and flavor. You will not be disappointed when this food truck is in town! Don’t forget to finish your meal off with that strawberry banana pudding. I don’t normally eat banana pudding at all, but it is delish!

I ordered chicken wings from the food truck, and I was disappointed by the high price and lack of freshness. It was obvious these were frozen wings, as they were perfectly cooked on the outside but raw and had discolored bones on the inside. I paid $12 for just five wings.
