I’ve been coming here for roughly 8 years now. This place used to be my favorite! Over the past two-ish years I’ve noticed a steady decline in their products as well as service, my stops in have slowly become less frequent due to this. Today my family stopped in for a quick lunch and the experience was far from enjoyable. We paid over $40 for 3 panini sandwiches and one triple shot espresso on ice. While I can understand price increases in this economy I don’t understand price increases while also offering a major decrease in the quality of said product. The service was terrible, all the people who work there act as though they have better things to do and don’t want to serve you. We ordered our paninis as meals and yet even after the girl who took our order checked twice with me that I wanted them as meals with chips we were only given the sandwich’s. Their paninis used to be stuffed to the brim and you fully got your moneys worth, now it is just one or two pieces of deli meat and a small slice of cheese wholly swallowed by bread and that’s it. Their coffees used to be top notch and now sadly I have better luck at Starbucks or Dunkin, at least there they correct any mess ups and can be a bit more personable (that alone says a lot!) Very disappointing from what it used to be.

We hosted my sisters baby shower here at the River Coffee house. The price was affordable and we were able to have a barista there if people wanted to order drinks. They were helpful and it was such a great big space. Definitely recommend for either a bridal/baby shower or graduation open house

This place is ideal for getting homework done or just chilling with friends

I stopped here every morning when I was in town for a nearby camp, and I just loved it. The staff! Wow. Customer service at its finest, and just genuinely NICE people. Love the warm, upbeat energy of this place. The medium roast and dark roast are solid blends. Every town should be so lucky to have a true coffee house like The River. Thank you for your hospitality.

Have been here multiple times. The inside is awesome, and the ladies working behind the counter are always kind. I often get iced lattes and enjoy them. They also have acai bowls, and they are amazing! I highly recommend it.

The country music they play (about divorce, arguing, and being lonely without love is really depressing) really throws off the asthetic of the place.
