Went here for the first time ever last weekend for drinks and had a great time on the first visit, the bartender was super nice and attentive, my cocktails were amazing- no complaints. We were around town the next night looking for a place to grab a couple drinks and maybe some small bites. We saw the lights on and doors open at King Neptune’s and thought, awesome, we liked it here, let’s go in. I cross checked with Google to see the hours and it said closes at 10 (on a Friday, in a tourist town). But again, doors were open, lights on, people inside, open sign lit up, so we thought maybe the Google information wasn’t current as that does happen often. Took one step inside the door and were rudely told they were closed. But.. all of your lights and signs are on and your door is open. It’s a shame because we really enjoyed our first experience there and wanted to go back. Not mad, just disappointed because it’s pretty misleading to have everything on and open just to be told rudely that the place is closed.

10/10. Went here twice because of how good it was. Both times thoroughly impressed. Our waitresses both times were fantastic, probably the best service we have ever had. I had the BLT and it was great! The onion rings, in my opinion were too greasy but oh well…still ate them all!!

We enjoyed eating on the deck by the water! Great view! I had a delicious burger & fries & an even more delicious cranberry vodka drink. Staff was super nice and helpful. Would recommend!

Went here with my wife and two kids during our visit to beautiful Lake George. All of the lakeside restaurants were busy at the (dinner) time and the waits were all generally about a half hour…we decided to give King Neptune’s a shot. Fortunately, the wait was not as long as we expected, and the hostess outside was super accommodating and put an honest effort into getting us seated as quickly as possible. We failed to mention that we wanted to sit inside, and after offering us some outdoor seating…we revealed that we would prefer to sit indoors, and minutes later she got us inside at a table with an excellent view of the lake! We put our orders in, and everything came out in a timely manner, despite the packed house. The food was excellent, tasty burgers for the kids and my grilled chicken wrap was very fresh and delicious. Our waitress was outstanding. Overall, many of these places are stretched/short staffed, due to the fact that many people don’t want to go back to work…and I had a great vantage point with our seating, of observing King Neptune’s staff in action. I could tell you, the entire staff was not only very friendly…but working extremely hard to keep a packed house happy. From the bar tender and all the wait staff, the hostess, etc..kudos to all of you! The prices were very reasonable as well. Excellent food and awesome service. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend.

We didn’t have to wait long. Food was delicious and the view from the back deck was beautiful!! Great selection of beer and mixed drinks. The service was excellent!

Came in heard the band . Had drinks great place . Great band Led Zeppelin impersonators from 6 to 9 then another band plays from 9 to ? During the lake George festival. Sat night. Thumbs up

Absolutely disgusting. This place should be shut down. It’s a tourist trap. It’s called “king neptune” but there is only 4ish seafood options (and the only seafood they have is listed under appetizers) and when we ordered they were out of 2 of them. Anyway, I ordered the buffalo chicken boneless wings and fries. Both of them were so disgusting I felt so sick afterwords and I only ate two pieces (I am attaching a picture) and the fries also tasted very old. The service was awful, my boyfriend and I are not picky eaters (at all!) and this could quite possibly be the worst dining experience we ever have.
