Our waitress was sweet and helpful. Unfortunately, the seafood pasta was bland. The sauce had no flavor, much to our disappointment. My Blackbeard’s Revenge drink was very good.

We came out for my husbands birthday, forgot to mention that at the restaurant. ♀️ The food and overall experience was great. We got to sit on the rooftop looking towards the water, beautiful view. My husband ordered seafood pasta, he said it was flavorful and fresh. I ordered Cajun chicken wraps and fries, they were delicious. The best part of the experience was our server Lauren, she was super friendly and genuine. While everything was wonderful, we would go back again mostly for the wonderful service.

I was in town fishing the BigRock and some of our team were looking for a late night hangout to let off some steam. King Mackerels was the perfect spot, a lot of the other boat crews showed up and it turned into a great time! The bartenders are top notch and even the bouncers and DJs are very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a fun spot to have some drinks after hours, this is THE place!!

Checked out the new menu with King Mackerels and it was great. Very nice option for food, beer, wine and mixed drinks for downtown Morehead City. Got the fried shrimp platter, big fat shrimp that were clean and tasty lots of fries and the best coleslaw I’ve had in awhile. Table also had seafood Alfredo which they enjoyed greatly and the spicy chicken wrap was definitely a win. Great beer selection, had everything we want in a evening dinner. Will definitely recommend and will be back.

This place is for sure a vibe!! The live music is amazing. Food is good, drinks are as well. The staff is phenomenal. I highly recommend visiting this place. Very much so worth your time !!

Overall our experience with food and service included was five stars. We ordered the seafood nachos with shrimp and crab meat and it was delicious. Big chunks of crab meat and good size shrimp. Perfect size appetizer for a family of 5. Also If you are a fan of sweet potatoe fries then you will LOVE theirs. Even our waitress said that they had the best around and to be honest I didn’t believe her but man was she right, they were amazing. Cooked perfectly in the middle with slight crunch on the edges and the dusting of cinnamon and sugar took it over the top. Although we had hoped to sit outside especially since the upstairs was empty but maybe not open when we visited ♀️? The inside was nice and clean with vaulted ceilings and great lighting. Only down side that we experienced was that we wished that the fried shrimp taco’s we ordered weren’t as spicy as they came and the women’s bathroom was kept up with better. Other then that the seafood was fresh, cooked great and our waitress was very kind and attentive.

Came down from Northern Virginia for a dive weekend and stumbled on OTH. WOW! So glad we did! Pressley was our server and as sweet as she could be. I’m on a limited menu and she was able to get the chef (and owner, Charlie) to make me something FABULOUS! The atmosphere was so comfortable. It was a little slow so Charlie was able to talk with us for a bit and we shared some stories. It was such a great experience, we went back 2 nights later, sat at the same table and asked for Pressley. Can’t wait to come back and eat their delicious food! Next time I’ll definitely have some cocktails!!
