After walking the mall for a lengthy amount of time, we ended up in the food court. There are many options, but we decided on King Kong Express. We were excited about trying something new, since we don’t have one in our area. That excitement quickly changed once we received our food. It looked amazing but looks are deceiving, because it was totally disgusting. You couldn’t eat the pepper steak because it was too salty. The chicken tasted like it was from the frozen section at Walmart. It was hard, chewy breading because there wasn’t hardly any meat. The fried rice was tasteless, with the exception of having an old refrigerator taste. The fried rice I cook, actually tastes way better than what was served. I tried using soy sauce & my daughter tried the duck sauce, that didn’t help. I went back to the counter, they offered white rice to replace the friend rice & gave me sweet & sour sauce for the chicken. That didn’t help. My stomach begin to hurt, so I just went back to our hotel to rest. I would suggest trying a different restaurant in the food court.

We were hungry when we arrived at the American Dream Mall so we promptly made our way up the Coca Cola Eats food court on the 3rd floor in Court C of the vast Mall.
There were plenty of different food cuisines available in the very quiet food hall and after a look at all the options available I decided to go for some Chinese food from the King Kong Ecpress stall. I opted for their 2 entree and 1 side Combo A deal for $12.99 and had the General Tso chicken, chicken with brocoli and fried noodles. The food was very tasty and very good value.
The total bill for the food & a bottle of water came to a very reasonable $16.83 including taxes.
In the USA prices are quoted before sales taxes, which is 6.65% in this mall in New Jersey and alot higher in NYC!
My wife fancied the food from The Geman Doner Kebab stall, but she didn’t realise it was located in Block A, which is a long distance away and came back without being able to find it☹️

Don’t make the same mistake as me! Go and eat at your regular fast food place instead, Popeyes, Taco Bell or Wendy’s located inside the food court would have been such a better meal. Food was missing flavor, everything was super sweet. The chicken was super squishy everything taste subpar, it reminded me like an old cheap “Chinese” buffet flavor with very cheap seasonings and everything tasting like the same! You have been warned…

The beef was very salty, broccoli over cooked, rice hard like it was sitting there for a long time and oily from heat and dehydration. I wonder if they have a supervisor at the premise.

Worst experience at this chinese fast food.Orderded a 2 entre 1 side option. The rip of is that they consider fride ice as a side. The food was also cold and tasted all sweet.

Get the mapo tofu!! It’s not people’s go-to Chinese-American dish but it’s very flavorful and has a kick. I’ve definitely had less authentic mapo tofu. Everything was very fresh, you get a heaping portion. I got all I could ask for.
