Food was pretty good. The desserts are excellent. The I’d definitely go back for the mini parfaits and the fruit tart. The issue I had was with pricing. I asked for the rice bowl without chicken, but was still charged for chicken. I was advised that the price of chicken was included in the meal and if I get it with or without I still have to pay for the chicken. Every place I go just removes the price of the chicken. Don’t understand why it’s not the case here.

We get in the door and there are people sitting at tables with menus and a hostess. Then when we get to the hostess, she tell us it’s cafeteria style and you go up and order and we can sit where ever. Ok, fine. We then go up to order and I try to get something that is on display and they tell me to go order it from the register, like a fast food place…. They had a lot of people working but no one really helping us. I got a little annoyed when they ran out of forks in the dining room and had to wait quite a while before one of the workers realized that I was standing by the registers for a reason.

Atmosphere and interior design is nice and relaxed. Food is in a style I would call French inspired American, as in the taste and portion sizing are both quite American. Food variety is good and desserts taste nice. However, dinner entrée items are slightly under seasoned and the recipes could definitely use a bit of improvement. To end on a good note, I found the staff very friendly and welcoming.

I received a Groupon to go and eat at this restaurant for a very good price. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Nice location and atmosphere. The food is plentiful. Will go again.

The place was okay. Took a while for the food to come out and my fiancé was already done eating before my food came. I had to send my food back as it was cold but the soup was great. Not a lot of menu options for some one like me who is very picky but nice atmosphere.

It appears that what once was Mimi’s is now Madeline’s, taking a more cafeteria approach to American/French fare. Food was serviceable and the $5 mimosas almost made up for the multiple times we returned filthy glassware and receiving the wrong order.
Management was friendly but I doubt we’ll return. Good decor and perhaps good for a quick bite or takeout.

Their sacher torte is one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve had. Super moist and so flavorful!! Would definitely go back again. Nice dessert and bread collection too.

A charming French patisserie! What’s not to like? Few vegetarian options but tasty. Deco is rustic and inviting. Upscale and slightly expensive but seems to be worth it.

The food was great. The employees are wonderful. For a party it is kind of good and bad. If you want your guests to pay for themselves it’s fine. If you’re picking up the tab it is annoying. You wait in line and they bring you the food. It would have been so much better to just have table service. The prices are great. I would go there again.

The food and desserts were good. The ordering process is confusing. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The coffee machine was empty and we had to ask 3 times for them to brew more coffee. We had finished our meals by the time the coffee was replenished and had to take it to go. I know it’s only been a crazy little over a month, but they definitely need to iron some kinks out.
