Still in soft-opening stage, but full menu and bar (just no bartender yet). Crab was perfectly cooked and not too expensive compared to other places in the area. The shrimp are huge and well worth any price tag, but could be cooked for less time. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious and tasted like those from Red Lobster, but the price ($14) was way too much. I would definitely go again and would say they are in my top 5 of crab places. We ordered the Pew Pew (smaller of the two and $27) and the Sniper ($49). Next time we will try the King Crab, which is $50 / lb.

Was ok, we tried all appetizers because I love crabcake. Got the crab fries and fried pickles. Everyone in there was eating the sacks so maybe that’s what we should have gotten.

Was a little weary to try this place cause I never see it packed but after reading the good reviews I see what they were talking about. Food was great and service was even better. Latoya was very friendly and helpful with us making our decisions on what to eat. Waco has been missing a great seafood place like this since buzzard Billy’s back in the day. Like any good seafood place the prices are gna be higher than usual but the weren’t outrageous. Definitely will be back and try something different. The battleship was more than enough to feed my wife and I.

Update:We decided to give this place another try after our not so great experience 2 weeks before. This time was a much better experience. Service was wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We ended up ordering The Battleship this time (crab legs, class, shrimp, and crawfish), it was enough food for at least 4 people to eat, and it was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing (we got garlic parm). I highly recommend getting one of the seafood bags. After this experience we will be returning.

Tasty!! They are new and under soft opening now so it might take a little bit longer for the food to come out but it’s worth the wait. Delicious!! Also they are sort in staffs so I can understand that they have to work hard.

The atmosphere might not of been the best, the the food was really some of the best I had. There was more than I thought I would have gotten. We would of not got an appetizer if we knew how much food we got on our platter. But it was all good. Price might of seem high but it was well worth every penny. Definitely would go back.

Servers didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Under trained or just didn’t understand. Food was good. Glad to have a variety in Waco but the servers need to step it up. Food was good but the season is off. We ordered the hottest season and it wasn’t even hot.

We ate at Killer Crab a bit before 7 pm on a Sunday. It was exactly as advertised and it really hit the spot. We wanted crab, and the snow crab was cooked perfectly. Our server was both fast and nice, and she checked on us so often that we didn’t always need something. Our kids enjoyed the kids’ meals, and the ‘kitchen sink’ gumbo had excellent flavor. The prices were reasonable, too.

I had high hopes for this place, but my husband and I were let down tremendously. The tables are too close together making it feel extremely crowded. It took a while for us to give our order, but it was quick to come out. We ordered fried pickles as well as 2 of The Pew Pews. The pickles were overcooked so breading was tough. The shrimp were a good size but they, too, were over cooked. I added a boiled egg to my order which was (yes, you guessed it…) overcooked. The sausage that came with it tasted like it had gone bad, like spoiled meat would taste. The service was terrible. We were sat in a corner and had a hard time catching our server’s attention to get refills on our drinks, to place our order, and to ask for our bill. She was not very attentive at all. Will not be returning.

The menus were filthy and the service was poor. The pew pew crab and shrimp plate was good but my catfish was under cooked. The place needs a good cleaning. The waitress was her phone and seemed put out when asked for different items needed for the meal.
