Delicious Japanese food! Quick and friendly service, the wait time is pretty short. The seafood and such are super fresh and the servings are abundant. Sushi is rolled tightly and the seaweed is very crisp (not soggy at all). The miso soup is also good, as well as the fried vegetables. Great place for Japanese cuisine!

The sushi was pretty good. The sashimi had sweet and salty hint, which was great. The noodle in the ramen was really authentic Japanese. The ramen soup did not have strong taste as I expected (maybe a little bit Americanized?). It’s weirdly hard to find many good sushi restaurants in the Seattle area..

The most authentic Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. Great plating and exquisite food. We keep coming back. The prices are slightly more expensive than “I love sushi”. But the $16 lunch Salmon Bento is our favorite.

Of so many Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in the Seattle area, Kiku sushi is the only one that I visit back again and again. I call it a gem hiding around a small corner of Bellevue. Omakase sashimi is a must try each single time. To me, sashimi is all about freshness, and the freshest sashimi I’ve had is always here. They never fail you on the freshness and quality of their food. Also, you can never go wrong with Dragon roll and rainbow roll if you are a sushi person. The layout of the restaurant is not super fancy, however pretty clean and comfy. Staff here are also very nice, gentle and respectful. Price is relatively higher than most of the other Japanese restaurants around, but well worth it in my opinion.

I am highly concerned about their food safety. Me and my partner had dinner here, I order chirashi (sashimi over rice) and my stomach has been upset afterwards. It’s 2am still I keep running to toilet. I mean I love sashimi and had them often at different places, never had issue before.

I dont know why I haven’t eaten here before now. The food was authentic and great, though the menu may not be as expansive than similar restaurants. They specialize in appetizers, sushi and bento boxes, but they have some other entrees and noodle bowls. The restaurant is actually larger than expected, but honestly sitting up front seems better because the service is better. The bento boxes are great and come with your choice of sashimi or rolls. We also tried the curry chicken katsu, seafood noodle and several rolls. Everything was great, and the food came out faster than anywhere else I can remember and even faster than some fast food places. We didn’t have a reservation, and it wasn’t a problem, but I would reccomend making them in the future as there was alot of traffic, people ordering takeout, etc. I would highly advise trying Kiku Sushi.
