Excellent food and a memorable meal! Suggested by local friends as a great place for northern Thai food and it was well worth the 45 minute drive. The gaeng hang lay (pork curry) was amazing – probably the tastiest I’ve tried with some nice subtle flavors. The northern style laab also had great flavors as did the sausage. My wife ordered some soup dishes and dips, which reminded her of home cooked meals. She is already planning a return visit. Really great local dishes here, you really can’t go wrong with anything if you’re looking for excellent northern Thai food.

Food was awesome. Authentic home style Chiang Mai cuisine! Was a perfect stop for lunch after seeing the elephants and bamboo rafting. All the dishes were amazing and full of flavour. Especially loved the pork belly in soy dish. I am unsure of the name but the mix of flavours was just amazing. Felt very authentic, staff were very friendly and welcoming. In the end for 7 of us we paid around 1500 baht some dishes were even 60 baht and we ended up ordering double of some dishes (less than 10 AUD per person). Just a perfect way to enjoy the food of the city.

Overall, the food is good, but it’s a bit too spicy. Even when I ordered mild, it was still quite spicy. The flavors are nice, just a little too hot for my taste.
The fried pork belly was okay, but I was expecting it to be crispier—it would have been much better if it was more crunchy.
The staff are friendly, and there is an air-conditioned dining area, which is a plus.
