I had a really good experience at Khazana. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We tried the beet croquette and veg galouti, both of which were full of flavor and beautifully done. The jackfruit biryani was aromatic and perfectly cooked, and dishes like shaam savera and dum aloo stood out with their rich taste and presentation. The truffle naan and garlic naan complemented the meal perfectly. The cocktails were also very nice and well balanced. Overall, everything we tried was yum, and I’d definitely recommend Khazana for a great dining experience.

We didn’t have a reservation but still managed to get a table. Sometimes spontaneous plans truly work out! The location and ambiance were great.

We ordered three small plates:
• Edamame Pani Puri – decent.
• Smoked Ricotta Galouti – amazing and easily my favorite dish of the night.
• Shimeji Pepper Fry – really good, perfectly tempered. It comes with parathas, but those were a bit chewy and served cold.

For the large plate, we chose the Saffron Paneer Cascade and requested it spicy. We paired it with Garlic Naan, and it turned out to be the perfect combination.

We had a nice dinner at this cozy location(previously Joya).
I enjoyed the appetizers a lot. Had some chilli chicken, beetroot croquettes and mushroom pepper fry which were yum.
Since the kitchen messed up with a bit addition, they also provided a dish free of charge for their blunder.
The naans were very fresh. I wasn’t a fan of the shrimp in sourdough bowl. The chicken was also okay.
The old fashion drink was really good.
Overall a nice cozy place with some hit or miss dishes. It’s expensive, so I might wait out for a few more reviews to venture over there again. The staff were very courteous.

Came here for the first time and we were celebrating my parents anniversary.. we had a reservation so we got seated right away. We have a baby but we’re not allowed to take the stroller to the table so we ended up putting it in the reception area.

The restaurant is a big space … and it was solid packed on a weekday. The ambience is very beautiful. Our server took very long to come to us to get our initial orders which was hard with kids. Eventually they came and we placed our orders. When our glasses were empty, they were not filled til the very end of our meal – service overall wasn’t great at all. We ordered a few different things 3-4 appetizers and few mains. The appetizers were really good but the mains were seriously underwhelming. The mains were 80% sauce as you can see from the pictures. Anyway.. we also ordered some desserts at the end and honestly that was the best part of the meal.. the jamun with rabri was delicious along with the motichoor cheesecake was a nice twist on traditional desserts. Overall the food was ok but not too happy with the service at all.

Enjoyable Times at Khazana, Palo Alto . A Refined Elevated Experience with Creative Indian Inspired Cocktails like Saffron Negroni, Spicy Bazar, Jaipur Bliss – This Trio of Cocktails started our camaraderie dinner with Aplomb. The Atmosphere was oh so cool & Buzzing without being loud and the lighting was soothing. Many Thanks to Hostess Pooja for being Attentive during our dinner there at Khazana – She is the True Khazana of the place and she ensured that the time spacing between different courses was well balanced and not overbearing. We simply loved the Shaam Savera and the Begdi Chili Chicken. Our game plan was focused on Appetizer centric like delectable items like Papads & Chutneys, Ancho Chili Paneer Tikka, Beetroot Croquets, Melt-in-your-mouth Smoked Ricotta Galouti All with awesome chutneys. For the Mains, Chicken Tariwala was so much full of flavor almost like a Roganjosh and Shaam Savera was the piece de resistance. I simply went ballistic over the Gulab Jamun with Rabdi which was lovely to look at and to consume. Assorted Papadums were a delightful accompaniment to the meal. All in all, A Most Memorable gathering – full of laughter – with friends,

A welcome addition to the Indian Fine Dining scene in the Bay. The Daal Mizaaz is the best Daal I have had outside of India! The Lamb Rogan Josh is melt-in-your-mouth yummy and super light at the same time! The Bhegdi Chicken Tikka is super soft and creamy – a wonderful appetizer. They have a lot of vegetarian options as well. Its a bit on the pricier side, but definitely better than Rooh, and more variety than Ettan (both in similar price range). The large plates have enough quantity for one person – gives you a chance to try out more items when visiting in a group. Definitely would love to go back and try some of the vegetarian items as well!

We came here with a large group and got to try a wide variety of dishes across the menu. Unfortunately, not one stood out. Everything tasted very average and lacked the depth or authenticity you would expect from a restaurant with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s name on it. Having tried several other contemporary Indian restaurants, this one felt more like a wannabe than the real deal. Definitely not worth the money.

We started our meal with the beetroot croquettes and ancho chilli paneer tikka. The croquettes were definitely the highlight
flavorful, well-seasoned, and felt like a healthy choice. I would absolutely recommend them. The ancho chilli paneer tikka was good, though it didn’t stand out as much in comparison.

For mains, we tried the Shaam Savare curry, which had a tangy profile. Personally, I prefer my curries on the less tangy side, but it was still a well-prepared dish. The asparagus khichdi was a nice, mild option and worked well for the kids.

One downside was the lack of yogurt-based drinks or buttermilk something I expected to be available, especially for kids. It would be great if they added that to the menu

First time here for a business meal and my experience is mixed. Tried many of their cocktails, appetizers and entrees and most of their food is good. It’s different from regular restaurants.

Service is appaling though. Restaurant was busy but that isn’t an excuse for such a premium restaurant. Waiter were unable to fill water cups on the table despite reminding.

Food is good. Beet croquettes is my favorite. Cocktails were ok and Dessert is amazing
