Came to pick up a pizza. The manager was out front smoking a black and mild
Came in to counter.
Nobody at the counter or in view.
Waited.
Then the manager walks in from the back, never washed hands.
All the employees suddenly appeared and stared at us manager rang us up.
Got home- cold pizza
We came right away for an estimated 15 minute ready time.
I live 5 minutes away
Receipt of purchase will prove all my time points.
Pizza was horrible
Cold and nasty
Basic pepperoni
Nothing else
It was undercooked and then sat cold in that short time
Management is not capable of running a small pizza store properly.
My brother is a news reporter I will be contacting Jane Grote Abell about this because it’s not what Dontatos is or ever has been.
Will suggest to close since it’s underperforming and no good prospect for future service.

After 3 years we decided to give Donatos another chance.
Pizza was burned barely edible wasted $60.
It’s a shame because this was our favorite back in the day.

This place is a joke! I placed an online order at 5:48pm today, 12/13/2025… It’s now 7:04pm and I called for an update since I never got my food. They said “a door dash driver should be here soon” I’m not eating food that’s been sitting there for over an hour. I’ll never order from here again.

Waited an hour for a delivery with a salad and a 12 piece chicken chunks. After it got delivered I was eating my salad and realized there was a hair in the salad, lost my appetite straight away. Called the store and explained to the women, first she sounded like I was just trying to get some free food (I just wanted a refund for just the salad I had ordered) she made me feel like I was making the whole thing up at the end of the day she ended up giving me a 20$ credit for my next visit/order which is great but I’m not ordering from this place. It’s unsanitary and just gross.

Forgot my cheese sauce, only put 2 bread sticks in my order of bread sticks and they’re literally around the corner but the pizza is luke warm. Donatos is too expensive to be doing this nonsense. Get it together!

Will never support this company due to this location. Service was absolutely horrible. Food wasn’t nothing special. Half the salad was bad. The app set its own time after I made a pick up order for 6:30pm. Mark was rude on the phone. Sent my oldest in to get the pizza and the woman at the front was beyond rude. Only got pizza for the movie night event on August 1st. No paper came with my order so back in went my oldest where the same lady was clueless about the event and then whatever male she rudely passed my daughter to, told her she didn’t have to order pizza to get the tickets and he didn’t care.
Not surprising for Dayton, but truly sad. Especially when speaking to a minor.

My ordering experience is why I had to take away a star. It started out smoothly, that is until I realized the “person” taking my order was AI. This robot tried to give me THICK crust even though I clearly ordered THIN crust. Then it gave me a new nickname: Dan Dan before it told me it couldn’t honor my $2 coupon. Well, that was unacceptable. It transferred me to the store, and the manager was very nice and got things squared away, the pizza was yummy, and most importantly they took that $2 off. Hence the 4-star rating.
