We had a fantastic evening here at khao Thai. We booked here for a girls night gathering and the food and atmosphere did not disappoint, so flavourful, fast and the host was very kind. The food portion was a lot, very good value for money. Cute and cosy little find 🙂 would recommend 1000%, we will be back again!

Just amazing! Our first time trying Thai food and we absolutely loved it. The staff are so lovely and friendly, so relaxed inside with really nice calm music, the perfect setting. If you’ve not tried Thai or want to experiment we definitely recommend the sharing starter, it was delicious and a great way to try different dishes. Watch out for the house sauce that comes with it, it was incredible, no clue what it was only that it’s the restaurants own recipe. We had the beef pad Thai and garlic and black pepper crispy duck with jasmine rice, both were so lovely. We just could not fault anything at all, we will definitely be back, thank you!

I tried Khao Thai and really enjoyed the food. The flavors were nicely balanced and felt close to authentic Thai cooking. Everything tasted fresh, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. A good choice if you’re in the mood for Thai food abroad.

From the very first moment we entered, it was SUCH a great experience. The staff (and the server) were very friendly and helpful – they even allowed crazy alterations to the food! The atmosphere was very cozy, comfortable and clean. The absolute highlight was indeed the food. The portions were big and every bite was very flavourful. Definitely one of my top places to get good food worth its price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, you will not be disappointed.

Just had what might be the best Thai meal I’ve ever eaten in Weston-super-Mare, possibly anywhere! Khao Thai is a little hidden gem on West Street and it completely blew us away tonight.
From the moment we walked in, the warm, genuine welcome set the tone. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly passionate about the food. The atmosphere is cosy, modern and relaxed, perfect for a special evening out.
Portions are generous, prices are more than reasonable for the quality, and they even brought out a complimentary little dessert surprise which was a lovely touch.
If you’re anywhere near Weston-Super-Mare and love proper Thai street-food-style cooking elevated to restaurant level, do yourself a favour and book Khao Thai. We’re already planning our next visit. Hands down one of the best meals out we’ve had in ages, thank you team Khao Thai, you’ve got customers for life! ️ ✨

We’ve previously had delicious takeaway from here so took the opportunity to dine in at their new restaurant last night. It didn’t disappoint. The space is intimate and calm, with attentive service. We had a sharing platter to start which was great, followed by crispy pork and kale stir fry for my husband and a crispy duck breast over a noodle broth for me. It was all excellent. Drinks were well priced and the wine was good. Can highly recommend!
