Great friendly environment, got two orders of wings and waffles and a side of mac and cheese to go, everything was delicious, you can tell they put a lot of care into their cooking and you can grab a drink at the bar while your order is made!

Food all came out as ordered. Wings were good. Great flavor on the Buffalo sauce . They weren’t crispy at all but tasted good.
I ordered the T-bone and shrimp combo . Shrimp were dusted and then fried to perfection. My steak was over . Medium to medium well instead of medium rare . My sons steak did come out at medium rare as he requested.
Would probably go back. Good food and not that crowded

VFW is clean and nicely decorated. Staff is friendly as are the other patrons. Good size menu with a variety of options. Chicken wings and shrimp were very good as were the mac n cheese and onion rings. There is a locally made hot sauce at the bar that is very good but beware if you are sensitive to heat/spice. Thankfully I was warned in advance so I was able to enjoy it. Would eat here again and recommend to others.

The food was EXCELLENT! We had the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, hush puppies, onion rings, and spinach & artichoke dip. Everything was fresh and HOT, which is impressive because we had delivery in another town. The food was all so delicious and the dip was easily the best I’ve ever tried. 100% recommend this place, and will DEFINITELY be eating here again!

They must be doing something right because even with take out orders they were hopping! Both my husband and I ordered the fish & wing plates and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious, smelled heavenly, and well worth the wait. Definitely will make this a consistent place to order from we can’t wait to try more as their whole menu sounds amazing.

We decided to stop in for lunch, first time in, super excited to try the VFW out. The online menu looked great, and co workers have said its good food, so we were anticipating an awesome lunch. The bartender up front was really friendly and directed us to the dining area. Once we were there, the person in the kitchen was on their phone and didn’t acknowledge us. We ended up having to leave and find another place to grab lunch because we were running out of time. We were disappointed we didn’t get to try any of the food. We’ve heard such good things.

My husband retired on Friday and we asked Kevin if they could accommodate 100 people for food. Not only did we have tons of leftovers but our guests absolutely loved the food. Most of our guests enjoyed the meatballs and wings. If you want great food then Kevlar’s Grill is where you would want to get it catered. Thank you for making his retirement a huge success with your tasty food and great customer service.
