Casual plates & cocktails served in an easygoing locale with overhead doors opening onto a patio.

As far as I’m concerned, one of the best restaurants in town. It was one of the first date nights we had after moving to Denver in 2021, and it’s a go-to when guests are visiting. Reliably great food and cocktails, interesting wine list (including some very nice by-the-glass options), the staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful…just so solid.

One of the best restaurants in Denver! Feels on par with Alma Fonda Fina and is definitely my favorite restaurant to take friends and family visiting in Denver. I’ve yet to have a bad dish or drink here. Also the greenhouses in winter are absolutely magical!

Tried out the lunch menu which is mostly a limited selection of dinner menu. The Smoked Devil Eggs were fabulous. My party sampled a variety of the lunch menu and all of us were very happy. I ate the French Dip and the beef was perfect but would have preferred a touch more horseradish to off set the the other flavors.
Will return for the dinner menu. Love the places popping up in The Highlands. Worth the drive.

Gosh, loved our dinner here so much! Our waiter was thoughtful and kind and everything we ordered was incredible. We had great suggestions from our waiter (the fried mushrooms and the special shrimp app (had as my meal! so rich and creamy!) and my husband had pasta that was just as good. I can’t wait to go back to try more menu options. So glad we found this place!

If you come here as a celiac and rely on the gluten free labeling on the menu, you will likely leave hungry. “Gf” on the menu does not indicate it’s safe for those with celiac, so be prepared to have your actual options be a fraction of what the restaurant represents. Hopefully menu labeling will be more comprehensive in the future. Otherwise, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and seems great for those who don’t rely on accurate labeling.

I am really happy that I decided to check this place out. I lived in the neighborhood for almost two years and never stopped in. I feel that I missed out on some good food. I had a reservation for 4:30 on a Friday, however didn’t need it, as I was the only person in the restaurant. For an appetizer I started off with the crispy pork belly 5.5/10. The pork belly had a bit of fat and was just alright, it would not be my first choice if I went back. The next appetizer I got was the corn fritters, which were excellent 8/10. I feel that these were a little different than other fritters that I have had, more doughy, but I enjoyed them. I also sampled both an east and west coast oysters, which were both wonderful 10/10. For my entrée I had the crispy trout almondine, which was excellent 9.5/10. The fish was well coated, had great flavor and paired well with the sides. For an additional side dish I tried the brown butter carrots 7/10, pretty good. For dessert I tried the special banana buttermilk pie, this was really special 10/10. I am happy that I came here. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. All of the staff were extremely nice and friendly. I look forward to finding an occasion to come back for… hopefully in the near future.

We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, and our server Zach went above and beyond, friendly, attentive, and made our dinner feel truly special. Highly recommend!

We made a group reservation for New Year’s Eve and opted for the chef’s tasting menu, priced at $140 per person. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Aside from the first course and the barramundi, the food was not even up to average.
The octopus was undercooked and extremely chewy, and the potatoes served with it were burnt. Three out of five people at our table could not eat the dish. When we informed our server, she said it would be replaced, but instead returned with plain baked potatoes. We didn’t understand how this could be part of a tasting menu at all. If it was meant as a vegan option, it was still extremely average.
Service was also lacking. Dishes were dropped off without any explanation, and no one checked in until it was too late. It felt like attentiveness was minimal, possibly because full price and gratuity was required to pay upfront.
We booked this restaurant based on positive reviews, but the overall execution did not reflect the reputation or the price. For a special occasion like New Year’s Eve, this was a letdown in terms of food, service, and overall experience. We have had far better meals at much more casual restaurants. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

We went here for Valentine’s Day and chose to do their special Prie Fixe menu. 4 courses, all but one was so bad
Round 1 – the gnocchi came out cold (only 4 pieces)
Round 2 – the Raviloi was not cooked through and still hard, room temperature, and it tasted like grass (only 4 pieces)
Round 3 – was steak and it was thankfully very good and saved the experience a bit
Round 4 – the chocolate cake was horrible, did not taste anything like chocolate and had a strong oil taste, and it was a dry. The cheesecake was also not good.
All of this was $90 a person!! Truly a comically bad culinary experience and I am truly not a picky eater. Was a toughhh $200 plus bill
Unfortunately, this was our first time here and also probably our last
Our server was very kind though and she did her job well so no shade on the service
