Thinking the staff might be busy, I moved ahead to the window, but no one was there. I even called the store and it went straight to voicemail. When I drove around to the front, I finally realized the restaurant was closed.
Cars before and after me went through the exact same thing. If the place is closed, they should update the hours online or at least disable the automated voice so customers aren’t left waiting and confused.
I waited and repeated few times, thinking maybe the staff stepped away for a moment, then moved forward to the window to check. No one was there. I waited another couple of minutes, even tried calling the store, but it went straight to voicemail. When I finally drove up to the front, I realized the place was actually closed.
The same thing happened to the cars in front of me and behind me. It’s definitely the store’s responsibility to update their hours on maps/apps to avoid this confusion.
Sigh… my last order had 1 breast in the bucket of “thighs/legs”.
I rarely go to KFC anymore due to this issue, even after specifically asking, they get it wrong too many times to count. My family consumes all 10 pieces and as the head of household… I get the breast and like always I threw it away.
How hard can it be to pay attention and select only thighs and legs?
Ended up waiting 25 more minutes inside because the wouldn’t give me a refund so I could go somewhere else. No apology from any of there staff or anything to try to make up for their incompetence.
