The food is great! The service was rough at best. It shouldn’t be hard placing an order. I had a list I started by saying I have a few items al acarte. No combos because we won’t be needing any drinks and then went on with my order. They still tried to make everything a meal I had to keep repeating myself and she wanted to end my order after the 1st item. This KFC has to be the worst I have ever experienced. Extremely loud and obnoxious staff. Clients (disabled people) wanted KFC for resident choice. When we arrived one man working the drive-thru and two female working alongside. Staff wore no name tag, female staff wore gloves- however they touch their Locs and braids, touched their clothes/WITH GLOVES- did not wash their hands or change gloves. Another co-worker came in and went straight to the bathroom. Carle staff coming in for lunch and had to leave as the lines were longer and staff was joking around. Corporate office needs to step in and assist this store. Unfortunately, residents wanted to eat their meals which they seemed to enjoy. The environment is so unprofessional.

Poor customer service. I was lucky to have my order taken when the staff person was at the register. Later she just walked up to the sitting area and started chatting on her phone. I saw a new walk-in customer waited for around 5 mins before she walked back to assist the customer. Another customer on not being attended to started saying “hello” to get some attention. Poor. And this service comes with bad food. Ordered a Zinger, had to return it cuz the sandwich was cold. Save your money and go to the one on University Avenue, not stellar but at least you won’t stand around for a while before being helped.

The drive thru literally takes forever every time I go. I once came here to just grab some sides to complete my own dinner with (just mashed potato’s w/o gravy and a biscuit) and I had to wait almost 15 mins to get these 2 simple side items AND THEY STILL CAME OUT WRONG !! The biscuit was UNDERCOOKED and they put gravy on the mashed potato’s!!! I don’t know who are running these chain restaurants (Popeyes, KFC, Taco Bell) in this area of Champaign but they ALL need a change in management and staff!!!
