To a/c in the restaurant, ceiling is missing and water logged.
There was 2 orders in front of us, the first had ordered 39 nuggets and they told him they were out and asked him if they could sub tenders instead he agreed. 3 minutes later he came back they only gave him 4 tenders total!! They gave him options he decided to wait 10 minutes for nuggets.
The other order was sitting at a table they waited 15 minutes for their order and left. While we waited I noticed only 3 employees in the store. 1 was doing everything the other (supposedly) on break the other stirring a pot of something. I asked what was going on because we had been waiting 20 minutes, I was told there screens were full. No one was in drive the whole time we were there. And both deliveries were still sitting there. We finally got our food. Asked for the manager, they didn’t have one!! He’ll be in at 4. (15 minutes). After we got our food, no one was cooking or bagging food, (what happened to that full screen?).
The food wasn’t old or cold. We waited for the “manager” the employees told him something he didn’t seem to care about what they told him. So we didn’t bother to talk to him, would have been worth our time. So we didn’t bother call KFC corp maybe they will care.
When they’re that busy, they need to be continuously dropping food. No one should have to wait over an hour for eight pieces of chicken.
The team is friendly and helpful, they acknowledge the wait and keep communication about what they are waiting for. But that’s it, they are waiting for more Hot, Fresh Food. If you want it faster, try ordering ahead in the app and picking it up in half hour. I can see why people might think the staff isn’t friendly because the manager doesn’t smile much. I think he’s just accepted the conditions he has to work in so he stays pretty zen. But he’s always nice and accommodating for the wait.
I just prefer to wait there and get the food right when it’s ready. My mom lives nearby so I go there about 8 minutes and the food is still like it just came from the fryer.
My only complaint and reason for the 3 in atmosphere is the AC needs to be fixed. While I don’t mind waiting, it did mean burning a lot of fuel going to wait in the car because the dining room is uncomfortably hot for summer.
