I stopped by this KFC on my way home from Greenville/Central. I ordered original 12 piece combo & asked for NO WINGS. I got home & the chicken was over cooked. It was 430PM. The chicken looked like it have been under the heat lamp since early that morning. The biscuits were too hard & small to eat. I called back the next day. I figured there wouldn’t be a manager past 530-6PM the day I ordered my food. Also, I live close to the SC/Georgia line & it was not worth the drive back to Clemson to complain. I spoke to April the need day. She told me that she couldn’t me any refund or a new combo meal without seeing the chicken. She, also, said that it was her first as manager. She gave her cellphone number so I could send her a photo of the chicken & my receipt. Also, they gave me 4 WINGS. We couldn’t eat the wings because the skin on all the chicken was like leather & the meat was bone dry. Two of the wings looked like they came off of a parakeet. April never contacted me back. I wasn’t looking for a refund nor free food. I guess they don’t care a quality of food. Seriously, if you want chicken in Clemson, don’t stop at KFC/LJS. They have a Bojangles & a Zaxby’s. Heck, McDonald’s chicken nuggets would have even been better. I will not eat here again. I have included a photo of the overcooked (burnt) chicken.

They have a dual restaurant there. One side is KFC and the other is Long John Silver’s. We tried the fish side and the food was horrific. The fish was fried in what appeared to be some of the most terrible oil as if it had not been changed in a very very long time. This made the meal inedible. Fried too, too long. This place used to be a very good and nice place to eat at. Please owner or management make this place like it was. It used to be a very enjoyable place to eat.

Went through drive-through about 8PM on a weekday. Drive through was empty. The KFC employee was downright hostile to me. After picking up the food at the window, I looked over at the food bag to check that my order was correct and complete before driving off. When the attendant saw me checking order, she began yelling at me to move my car away from the drive through window and proceeded to tell me everything I ordered was there and to just move. There was no one else behind me (drive through was empty!) so I was puzzled. She then pointed to a timer behind her and continued yelling at me that I’m running out her drive-through timer and to move my car. I didnt want to get her in trouble with her boss over the timer so I just drove off without checking order. When I got home, my order was incorrect. Of course… Horrible customer service. Never coming back there again

I ordered in the app and it said my order was ready but when I got to the restaurant, the person in charge said they hadn’t made it yet and that I needed to come in instead of picking up in the drive thru. I really didn’t have time for all of that but I did as asked. Then they were out of ranch but luckily the Long Johns side had some. It wasn’t a horrible experience just not as professional as I am used to

Came through drive through, was told to pull around and they would bring our my order. 45 min later they were just starting my order! There were 15 people and 3 drive through customers waiting on their food. I wound up walking out and not even asking for my money back.

Last night, 6/24/23 My husband, daughter, and I attempted to go through the drive thru at 8:45 pm. They are open until 10 pm. We never got a response in the drive thru so decided to pull around and walk inside. Once inside we were told the dining room was closed. We asked if the drive thru was open and they said yes. We told them we went through the drive thru but nobody responded. She grabbed a headset off the counter and said it’s open now. We piled back in our car and drove around and waited. Said hello? a few times and got no response. We finally just drove away. Basically they just wanted us to leave. I get it if they were closing in 15 min but they still had an hour and 15 min. We are new to Clemson and love KFC but that left a really bad impression!!!
