Truth be told, the brisket is one of the best, if not THE BEST brisket I ate in my entire life. No need to eat at Southern Pitt anymore. All of Kenny’s BBQ is fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, call yo grand pappi, game over, stop the show, out of this world DELICIOUS! The real secret is their banana pudding is better then your moms, no lie.

Where is Kenny? rode 1.5.hrs because previous experience was excellent. Draft beer taps not hooked up. ordered a loaded potato that was not hot…. definitely was not baked to order. plenty of pulled pork on top but that was about it. staff needs training in customer service and politeness

Had lunch Sunday. First time visit, not disappointed. Plenty of room with tables spread out. I had pork plate with 2 sides, potato salad and beans. Very delicious. I like their in-house sauce, a little sweet and slight hot kick. Wife had ribs that were outstanding, pork fell off the bone. The Brunswick stew was very good and my wife said it is as good as she makes. Waitress and service also very good. Will definitely be back. Best barbecue in Griffin.

We have eaten here 3 times. The pulled pork is excellent..my wife has gotten the smoked chicken everytime. Love the cornbread and the Brunswick stew is a classic tasty throw back. Service was also very good and attentive. The only area for improvement would be the ribs. They were a little to fatty and the membrane should have been stripped off. Other than that this is a great place to eat and is definitely a bright spot in the Griffin food scene that’s dominated by chain restaurants.
