This time we went to an excellent Korean restaurant, and I’m sharing photos of the dishes. The food was amazing; it was so delicious. I recommend checking it out. The prices are typical for Fairbanks, and you can come and enjoy the food, especially a nice hot soup, during these cold winters in this part of the city.

Everything was excellent.
The food was hot, rich, and full of flavor — generous portions and perfectly balanced spices. Exactly what you want after being out in the cold.
The Alaskan Amber paired perfectly with the meal.
Service was quick and relaxed, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. A great place to sit down, enjoy good food, and unwind.
Highly recommended. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Fairbanks again.

Cute restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered Beef Bulgogi and it was ready very quickly. Overall 4 stars being some parts of the rice were a little crystallized and portions of the beef were pretty dry. The flavor was really good and I would return.

Today we had a terrible experience at this place. We ordered ramen, but what was served did not resemble ramen at all and was extremely spicy, which was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. When we asked if it could be made non-spicy, the older waiter refused to remake the dish and stated that all ramen is spicy, which is simply not true. We have eaten ramen many times in different states across the U.S., as well as in Europe and Japan, and this has never been the case. The female server, however, was very kind and polite. Unfortunately, we left hungry and very disappointed.

You wouldn’t expect Fairbanks to have good Korean food, but KCs Kitchen is fantastic. Anyone who says they don’t like the food here simply does not like Korean food, because the food is authentic and delicious. The spicy pork was flavorful and delicious, the cucumber kimchi was one of the best I’ve had, and the cabbage kimchi was good but did taste a little off. This is definitely one of the top five restaurants in Fairbanks!
The price is a little high, but I guess that’s just the price of living in Alaska.

We visited KC’s and ordered the japchae and beef bulgogi—it was so good that we returned a few days later to try more dishes. On our second visit, we had General Tso’s chicken, ramen with egg, and crab rangoons. Every dish we tried was excellent. If you’re in the area, this is a great place for a meal!
There’s plenty of parking, and the dining area offers ample seating.

Ordered Spicy Pork Bulgogi and two Kimchi jijae. Spicy pork bulgogi was delicious and rice came with it.
1. But the Kimchi jijae was too sweet.
2. No rice was provided for the both Kimchi jijae.
3. Also, I and my friend split the bill and gave gold amex to pay for my portion of the meal. The waitress charged both to my friend’s card. Yes, i should have checked it, before I left the tip. However, it must have been nice to let me know that they don’t take amex, so I can give my other card.
I might revisit the place, but would not order Kimchi jijjae.

Beef bulgogi and bibimbap tasted good. Sad that we didn’t get any side dishes, especially kimchi, it felt incomplete eating korean foods without it.

Fabulous pho! Very rich and flavorful- and lots of it! Service was ok, nothing spectacular and although the dining room was clean it’s kind of dumpy and dated. Took a little longer than I would have thought to get our food, there were 2 of us and we both got chicken pho which took about 30 mins. There were 3 other tables there, 7 people eating altogether, including us…but the pho was so delicious it made up for the wait. I’ll go back for that!
