Decent burgers and sandwiches. Not the best burgers we’ve ever had, but was good. If you are looking for a gourmet or thick patty burger, then I’d go elsewhere. The prices were great and the service was excellent. The jalapeno poppers were our favorite thing we tried. Their fries are thin and crispy.

We used to frequent this restaurant at least a few times a month. The waitresses are regularly HORRIBLE, but the last time we tried to go, one of the workers locked the door right in front of our faces. There were other customers still eating inside, and we have 3 little ones, so it was definitely well-before closing. Not to mention, their stolen name and recipes from several Cville establishments. If you want a great burger and awesome service, head over to Dogwood across the street, or the REAL Riverside in town.

The food was good. However, the customer service not so much. First off, they got my order wrong so I had to wait on that to get fixed and then they forgot my ranch as well. It took a long time to get our food and I noticed that another table got their order wrong too. What probably ticked me the most was while the owner (Im guessing) could have been helping out with the tables (considering there was only one waiter) she was instead just standing there eating French fries and drinking her drink. Also the cook was not wearing a hair net and neither was the owner around the kitchen area. Also one employee was cleaning behind the grill with cleaning chemicals X’s while the cook was cooking the food! Chemicals and food should not be near each other at all. Overall I give this place a 3. Like I said food was good but they definitely need to work on their customer service and OSHA training.

Food was fine. Ordered burger and fries. Burgers came out quickly but no fries. Finished burgers still no fries, when waitress came by we mentioned that to her. She realized she made mistake and apologized and had the fries made. So 10 minutes after we finished burgers we had fries. While she was nice and apologized when it came time to pay bill no discount was giving for her error! This would make me think twice before going back!

Worse place will not go back. Waitress wasn’t friendly paid too much for the food. Facial expressions when asking for stuff. Very small sign where you can’t see that says 18%gratitude on party of 6. Three separate tickets got charged the 18%. Burgers are not gourmet. Would not suggest this place.

This restaurant must not like money. Me and my best friend took our families there at 8:30 one evening and they told us that we could only order to go. The manager actually came outside and told us this while we were getting out of our vehicles. Very rude about it too.
This isn’t the first time that I had a bad experience with this knock off wanna B river side. I will never ever go back and I suggest going to eat at the Mexican restaurant in the next parking lot over.

Food was just okay. I have tried a few items and i am always underwhelmed. A couple examples, on my tiny burger they gave me the heel of iceberg lettuce and a ton of raw onions. I ordered pickle chips and got a whopping 6 for almost $4. Once I ordered a Ruben and got probably 2 slices of corned beef. Any fan of ruben’s would be disappointed. Overall the food is acceptable but not worth the prices.

Been going here for more than a year, about once a week., Classic burger joint; Best one around the lake. Staff are usually very friendly, food is good and very reasonable price. Recommend it to anyone near Lake Monticello, just looking to get a good burger or other grill oriented food.

Food was good but a bit pricey if you compare at other local places you get a larger burger and fries. Cooking is done right out in the open. I dont like seeing the chef use his hands to take out frozen tater tots, nor did i enjoy the greasy looking grill. It was just ok. This place could do so much better.
