Been in now for Takeout three times, ordered ahead via their website (tip! Check their daily specials) I’m partially handicapped but was able to park right out front each time, they have a nice lot as well. If they offered Curbside service that would be my one suggestion but again was in no problems each visit.
The people, ALL lovely, the space warm and cozy, the FOOD… Fantastic. We’ve tried large pizza, meatball pizza, the double cheese burgers, salads, and they offer amazing grilled chicken cutlets as a side which is great for next day lunch. And. It’s affordable and fresh!!! Like going back in time… we’ll be longtime regulars from now on, haven’t had pasta yet but will soon. Thanks!

I wanted to like this place SO much! I did a pickup order of the chicken Alfredo. The gentleman that rang me up was very pleasant. That’s why I gave more than one star for service. The chicken Alfredo was bad, honestly… terrible. Saying it tasted like cardboard is being nice. It was a little under 17$, it came with a side salad, and bread. The side salad was fresh, house made ranch was really good, and the bread was okay. But that chicken Alfredo was so disappointing especially after paying 17$ I took one bite and threw away. I hate to leave reviews like this, but if I had read an honest review like this I wouldn’t have wasted my money on it. Hopefully it was just a fluke, and it will be better in the future. I really wanted a good Italian place somewhere close like Pittsboro

We tried today’s special chicken and broccoli with pasta in a butter sauce. The pasta, salad and bread stick $12.99. It was a good deal, the salad was fresh and a nice size. The dressing tasted homemade. My family tried the pizza and they thought it was delicious. We also tried the steak Stromboli which was very good, it had alot of steak in it. The bread sticks were delicious. Our waitress was very busy after church today but did a good job keeping our glasses filled.

Another great lunch! This time I had the eggplant parm sub. The marinara sauce is wonderful, the eggplant was cooked perfectly, and the bread was crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Perfect! My husband had the steak stromboli with jalapenos. Plenty of food, we even have lunch left for tomorrow!

This is the second time that our food has taken a significantly long time to prepare. Once we were dining in and today we ordered on DoorDash. Please work on providing more realistic timelines so DD drivers are not forced to wait 30-40 minutes after the projected pick up time. It causes the drivers to lose on other jobs or they could even leave the food and cancel the delivery.
The food is delicious, but there needs to be a solution to orders taking so long to be ready.

I ordered the jumbo hot wings, a few slices, calzone (filled with sausage, pepperoni and veggies), and a Stromboli for a takeout movie night with some friends and IT WAS DELICIOUS! I ordered online, but called to add some items and the staff were so kind about it. Now thanks to their great weekly specials – they are in my weekly rotation haha. This is a gem in Pittsboro with a mom & pop vibe and I’m glad I came across it!

When this place first opened, it quickly became one of our favorites. The food was delicious, and made fresh. The service was wonderful when Sam was working here (which unfortunately is no longer.) We came at least once (if not twice) a week. After some time off due to holidays and family commitments, our last two times back have been less than satisfactory. During our most recent visit, the service was very poor. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills (only got 1 refill the entire visit,) took a while to get our orders taken, and were pretty much forgotten by the end of our meal. Another waiter had to bring us to go boxes just so we could leave. Now for the food… the chicken Alfredo came out with spaghetti pasta, and the sauce was watery and flavorless. In the past, this was my favorite dish, and it was very disappointing to receive the mess I got. The pizza was not made how it was ordered, and we have ordered it the same way many times before with no issues. On a positive note, the appetizers were great, fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. Hard to mess these up. The marinara still tastes homemade, and it is delicious. To end this long review, it is sad to see such a promising place fall into the habit of inconsistent food and service, especially at the price point.
