I don’t know but this place was not good! We ordered yellowtail sushi two ways, spicy and with scallions. The sushi roll with the scallions actually had the yellowtail that was all cut up and tasted weird like old fish, we couldn’t eat it! Do not recommend!!!

I grew up eating at Kazu, then heading to the movie theatre next door—so many good memories here. I’m so happy the entrées and pricing have remained stellar after all these years. I truly love coming here; the food and service are simply amazing every time.
Stacy was my waitress, and she’s always so attentive, hospitable, knowledgeable about the menu, and kind.
Now, the menu… the buffalo dumplings are delicious and creative—I love the spicy, savory kick. The eel roll is so tasty, with salmon roe, seaweed, eel, and crab.
My all-time favorite dish is their bento box—it has a little bit of everything and generous portions.
Can’t wait to dine here again!

Parking’s the restaurants only downfall but don’t let that detour you, you don’t want to miss out on the warming experience, from the polite staff to the quality of the food they also have sushi for those who think it’s only fish “It’s Not” lol pass by try it for your selves, thank me later

I stopped by to pick up an order today and had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Robert. He was extremely rude to me and two other customers waiting for their food. While on the job, he was drinking and even making himself a drink behind the counter instead of assisting customers. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable for anyone representing a restaurant. I strongly recommend that management address this issue immediately to ensure customers are treated with respect and that proper workplace standards are maintained.

I had the seared tuna steak served with teriyaki vegetables and ponzu sauce. Outstanding flavor and presentation. For appetizers I had two oysters on the half shell as well as two pieces of octopus sushi. The sushi was fantastic and frankly I’ve never had better oysters. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been coming to Kazu since I was about 5 years old, 17 years later and it’s still my favorite restaurant in all of CT. The fish is always perfectly fresh, the kitchen appetizers are flavorful and delicious, and the consistency is amazing. You can’t go wrong coming to Kazu.

Sashimi is super fresh and sliced decently, not skimpy. Great staff with excellent service. Bartender is very friendly and knowledgeable. Head waitress knows what you want and has helpful advice. She works diligently and understands every ingredient that goes into an order.
