(3.5 stars. Food alone would be a solid 4 stars while overall dine-in experience would be a weak 3.)

This place is insanely authentic. It takes a little bit of time to get the food out (not more than 20 minutes though), but that’s because they make everything to order from scratch. The entire menu consists of items that I have never heard of before, and each item is amazingly unique, authentic, and delicious. This place is a must have experience for people who love trying new foods, or someone who just loves authentic Korean cuisine. I can tell the staff truly wants to make the experience as enjoyable as possible and puts the utmost effort into each dish.

My soul food place!! I felt my mom cooks for me. Everything was very tasty, delicious, and well-seasoned. Homemade side dishes (Banchan) are tasty and nutritionally well-selected. I can feel the cares of the chefs that foods are well seasoned and served at the most delicious temperature. There are so many Korean menus that I would like to try, and this brings me lots of excitement. Overall the atmosphere is friendly and homey.

The absolute best Korean food in the area. I from out of state and was visiting family briefly here, but I can’t stop thinking about their sundae guk ever since coming back home!

Food is delicious . Came to Greensboro NC from PA about 3 weeks ago and found this place, I’m in town again and now this is my go to place when I’m here. The service is good and the people are friendly. Anything you order will be Amazing.

I honestly have NO idea why they don’t have a 5 star! If they don’t, no one deserves it. I saw low ratings here and saying owners said their food is bad. Please think about it, why would a business owner say their food is bad, don’t they want to make money?? Please familiarize yourself with a term called “craftsmanship”, and don’t assume capitalism on everyone— not everyone in the world put money in the first place. I think this restaurant has the spirit of “craftsmanship”. It is one of the very few authentic Asian restaurants in the WHOLE Piedmont triad area. Owners are very devoted in making good food. They might not be super good at talking, but are very kind, hardworking and simple people. I sincerely wish their business prosperous!

I went here like seven months ago and i’ve been thinking about it since. I was in town for a concert and greensboro has literally nothing that looks appetizing but my friends and i went here. First of all, we were shocked by how much food you get, especially for the price. They bring out so many sides and they’re all so good. Anything you order off the menu is gonna be amazing. I’m actually frothing at the mouth typing this like i need it so bad rn. When we left our hotel in the morning, i was almost brought to tears because i had left my leftovers in the fridge. Hopefully i have an excuse to go to greensboro again soon because i will be returning. 20/10.

Kaya does serve Japanese food, but their Korean menu is why I go there. I have eaten here several times. It’s not a fancy establishment, but the food is delicious and offered at a fair price. I recommend the soft tofu seafood stew. They offer some harder-to-find Korean dishes like jokbal (trotters) and soonday jjigae (blood sausage soup).

Wanted to try out this place, and was left extremely disappointed. Every patron should be made to feel welcomed and treated equitably. Instead, I was met with indifference and unprofessionalism. Who tells a potential customer that “Half the the menu is bad” in an effort to get us out of there?
