Not what I was expecting. I thought there would be a case full of fresh cookies to choose from but all they had were pretty packaged cookies which are really good. They also make deli sandwiches.

Lots of ono local food at great prices with daily specials. My favorites there are their loco moco and their roast pork plate. Their tossed green salad is served with some papaya dressing, always gotta have that with the plate.

I came here for lunch today and had the Mixed Plate C: Fried Chicken, Hamburger Steak, Shrimp Tempura, Mac Salad and Rice. Flavor was on point and I was surprisingly pleased. Food was served hot and everything was fresh and crispy! Was comparatively pricey at $14.95 but I thought the food quality justified it. My other complaint though…not enough rice!

Really neat shop. You can grab cookies and treats as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a small gift shop with normal island favorite like coffee and hot sauce with a few staples like flower and ketchup.

Really wish we would have found this place sooner. We’ve been on the island for 5 days, spending lots of money on overpriced and often mediocre food. This place was refreshing. $40 for 4 of us – good breakfast sandwich, French sweet bread, scrambled eggs, and a huge acai bowl. Just good food at the right price. Saw more locals here than at any other breakfast spot on the island.

Worst attitude given by the two people who were here at the counter today. When asked if the chai latte was a masala or cinnamon, he was like I don’t know with a shrug. We had ordered 3 items and was given only two. When enquired no you ordered only two. We then ordered again and we were given the worst attitude ever. They both looked lazy and gave a damn about the customers who were there.

My review is of the bakery as opposed to the restaurant portion. I’m a big fan of the Kauai Kookie! Such delicious little pieces of shortbread goodness. I appreciate the diversity in flavors. They have guava, passion fruit, coffee, coconut, and many other flavors.

Moco loco was out of this world. Breakfast bowl hit just right. Coffee was made exactly as I’d hoped… DELICIOUS. Seriously, get yourself a solid DELICIOUS meal here… and maybe a treat to take with.
