Kate’s is a Greek and American style restaurant. It’s got a lot of parking on the street in front, a few tables outside and a little over a dozen tables inside. Portion sizes are great for the price which is definitely affordable. The service is good and quick. The gyro was stuffed, plus tons of fries with the platter. I’d definitely come here for breakfast next time.

It looked like a cozy Cafe so we gave it a go. We walked in and stood there while waiting to see if we could seat ourselves, we had to get the servers attention to ask if we could seat ourselves. There were literally two tables with people, so it wasn’t that busy. I ordered the Denver omelette and it was horrible, not sure how you can mess up an omelette but they figured it out. The server noticed I didn’t eat much and she asked if it was good. I didn’t want to be rude so I said it was ok. She didn’t charge me for the omelette. That’s great service and she was very attentive throughout the meal. I recommend giving them a shot.

I love Kate’s! Perfect breakfast/brunch spot if you’re looking for outdoor seating – plenty of shaded tables and booths outside the restaurant! Also home to the best orange juice on Colby Ave. No mimosas here, but a great spot before or after a couple morning beverages.

As frequent breakfast visitors, we are Never disappointed! Kate’s has kind and attentive service; our coffees never get below half, as the waitress returns frequently to offer a top up. Kate’s hot sauce and their jams are absolutely phenomenal, and the portions are quite large! We have tried a number of their scrambles and omelets, with our favorites being their Gyro scramble, and the I.G.A. (Italian-inspired) omelet, made frittata style! The decor is welcoming, and the local photography and artwork on the walls gives you a look into the history of the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

Had a quick lunch here with my 4yo, who doesn’t have a lot of restaurant experience. A staff member brought her over a basket of toys to play with while we waited, and she ordered and inhaled the Kitty Cakes pancake – a little bit of everything, and served already cut up, such a great thoughtful little step. My Denver omelet was yum, but the hash browns were pretty underseasoned. Clean bathroom with everything we needed. Thanks, we’ll stop by again if we’re in the area!

Authentic Greek food and great breakfast. Hard to find handmade spanakopita!!! Was presently surprised to find that! Got to try tiropita which is cheese version!

We popped in on a dreary day for an early lunch and were delighted by our gyro plates, especially the house-made fries and tzatziki sauce!

This restaurant used to be amazing. Sadly since Kate retired the new owners have changed the food. This place used to be packed with lines to get in. After my last visit there it was dead and after eating the food I could see why. I’m sorry to leave a bad review everyone there was very very kind. But if something ain’t broken, don’t fix it. The recipe for their house hot sauce doesn’t even compare to the one they used to have. This place used to be one of the best places to get breakfast in town. By far. I would not call this food Greek. They maybe sprinkle feta in their scrambles now. RIP Kates Greek. It is no longer what it once was. It made a name for itself for a very long time and that was because of Kate and the food they made well. It’s on ok spot for basic food you could make yourself at home. Service was great though. Amazing staff, hard working and very kind people.
