I love Katana so much. The sushi options are really good as well as their ramen. Prices are very reasonable and service is good. There is never a wait for a table. The take out is very popular, you often see a lot of people coming to pick up food.

Friendly customer service! Food was delicous.
Tempura was a LITTLE greasy and needed a little more flavor. Chicken Teriyaki breast was juicy, perfectly cooked. The sesame seeds sprinkled on top made the dish. Sushi and veggie dumpling tasted real fresh. Will come back again

Husband and I Took my stepson here after picking him up from Amtrak for a holiday visit. His first sushi experience!
It was empty but service was good and very friendly. I had tempura fried sushi and it was delicious!! The other rolls were not quite as good as I’ve had it at my usual spots… but we had a good time 🙂
We cleaned our plates.

Katana is an understated place which has a nice, cozy ambiance (sit away from the TV in the back, which is played with the volume off) with a lot of lovely dark wood elements.
The hostesses are friendly, without being intrusive. Go frequently enough, my family and I go roughly once per month, maybe a little more, and the hostesses will learn your regulars and preferences pretty quickly.
The sushi, sashimi, special rolls and hibachi dinners are all excellent. The fish is fresh and clean which is key in a Japanese restaurant. Prices are reasonable.
It’s quiet enough for an intimate meal and also a comfortable, family environment.
We’ll continue to go back regularly. Try it, you’ll enjoy and go back yourself!

Such a great hidden gem. Its a small place, but the atmosphere is perfect. Every time I go its never over crowded, and I always get greeted kindly. I’ve only eaten a couple things from their menu, but it was enough to keep me coming for more. Their hibachi plates are good (they don’t cook in front of you). Their dumplings are satisfying, and their sushi is delicious. They even do sushi boats. I think the absolute best thing I love from this restaurant is the relaxed yet professional feel of the place. Also, they have a authentic Japanese Ramen special going on now. I hope they don’t remove the ramen from the menu. Give this place a try, I’m sure you’ll love it too. Especially if you love anime and all things Japanese 😀 This is my go to weekend restaurant! If i could give them more than 5 stars I would.

The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. The prices feel fair and the portions are on par with comparable restaurants. Will you get two pounds of food for $10 like some buffet? No. Will you get a well made, fresh, and usually healthy meal? Yes, absolutely.

Quaint little sushi restaurant.
They have a nice variety of sushi and sashimi, plus a few other dishes 4 people that do not eat fish
The prices are average for the area, though I have noticed a few dishes are differently more reasonable.
Our favorite is the lasagna sushi, yes that’s what they call it and it is worth trying. Believe me it is fried on the outside, but it is amazing
The veggie tempura is really good and a great appetizer with the miso soup.

Great food, great service, and very reasonable prices. They have some unique specialty rolls as well. It’s a casual place with plenty of parking. It’s perfect for a family and has a large menu with a lot of options ranging from sushi to ramen.

This is a nice and cozy Japanese restaurant that surprised me in terms of how good their ramen was. I’ve had ramen from all over, and appreciate it when a restaurant can do it right. The service was great as well, the waitress was polite and delivered our food/drinks quickly. Definitely go here if you are looking for quality!

So I want to start my saying I was extremely disappointed by this place’s misleading photos on their site. My husband and I were looking for a different Hibachi place in the area, and thought this might be a winner. If you click on the Hibachi section of their site, it shows a guy cooking Hibachi style with people sitting around the grill. The actual restaurant doesn’t have this; it just has a sushi counter were you can watch them roll your sushi for you. We were extremely disappointed as we were primarily there to “watch the Hibachi show.” Instead, we settled for sushi and the “Hibachi” we couldn’t watch we made. The sushi was plentiful and tasty, but the Hibachi plate was really skimpy. There wasn’t very much food given at all for the price paid. Overall, it was okay, but we won’t be returning ever again.
