I loved this place. I am not really familiar with Indian food so ordered something I thought I might like…I am a convert!! I ordered Bhartha Mushroom and Cheesy Nan Bread. It came out quickly to my spice taste level. It came in beautiful copper bowls with fluffy rice. It was delicious. Afterwards I was discussing with the owner how much I loved it. She discussed the difficult process of how she made it. Loved it! I am ready for more.

I went here because it’s rated 4.3 but didn’t notice that the reviews were fake. It’s deception to a whole another level. Instead of paying for such deceptive expenses, I’d recommend the owners to expand on the dish variety, increase food quality, and hire efficient/better staffs. The food is old and not enough. There were literally like 4-5 dishes. The desert is non-existent. The rice pudding is just rice with some milk. Very poor customer service. The food is super over priced. No drink refills on a buffet for $5 ? Hair on food.

I meet with my friend every 2 or 3 months to go out to lunch. We really like Indian food so we opted to go here for the lunch buffet. When we walked in there was no one there at almost noon. That concerned me a little bit. We got seated right away and started eating. The buffet is somewhat small here. Every single food item they served tasted amazing! The flavor of the food is sensational! Now, having said that, we were the only people there for a while and no one really came to check on us. The lady came over when we arrived and she took dishes away one other time. But that’s about it. So the service was not that good. There were dozens of boxes piled up in the corner of the dining room. Not sure what was up with that. When we went to pay, my friend said that the buffets are getting expensive. The woman at the cash register took offense to that. I’m not going into all that but it was definitely unprofessional and bad customer service. If you like Indian food, this Buffet is the way to go since you really don’t need anyone waiting on you. Just don’t look in the corner.

Food was okay. I can’t even put 1 star for the service because napkins weren’t even given with utensils. Waitress wasn’t even there half the times to serve. We asked for boxes and she literally just puts on top of the leftover food. Found that very discomforting and very very rude. I would advise to find a better option other than this.

I have only done takeout. But the flavor and variety of what i have ordered is great. Portions are good too. When me and my co-workers decide on ordering and one of us says Kanak our faces get excited as we sure love it.

Amazing food. I have been to many many Indian restaurants and have high expectations. The service was a little slow, but they only have a few staff. Everything was in the top 3 of that dish that I have ever had and the gulab jamun was the best I have ever had.

Since their buffet went up to $16 apparently ($22 with tax and tip) it now feels too expensve as a lunch buffet. I do love all thier options, great chef but some items today were not hot at first on the bar. Because there’s never more than one other table dining there, you always have to wait on more bread to be made and the fresh naan batch I got to have was, well, more crunch than I’m used to? I remember when the lunch buffet was like only $8 many years ago (>10 years ago maybe? I’ve eaten here fot a long time) but still; $18 is too much.

I was there for lunch buffet today. It was delicious. Great variety with flavorful dishes. Usually buffets are bland but this was phenomenal. They gave me spice on side if I liked more spice. They had good selection of deserts too. The hostess was really kind and treat me like her own family. If you are in the area and you like india food don not hesitate to come to this place. I will be back often. A hidden gem in Montgomery.
