Wow! This place is a real gem. It’s rare to find both amazing food and fantastic service in Jackson. Kampai has it all, Caitlin, our server was so great, incredibly kind and gave us great suggestions. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

This place is 5 stars all around. I have a long review because I loved this place so much. I had no hopes in finding good sushi in Jackson because of obvious reasons, but I was surprised to find this place which has one of the best sushi I ever tried. This place has really good quality fish which compres to some top places I have tried in NYC and LA. The ambiance is amazing, I love the decor and even the cutlery is nice and good quality. I ate here twice, once at a table and then once at the bar. I loved eating at the bar because you can see the sushi man make the sushi plus we had amazing conversations with the sushi man. In addition to all of this I came here for my birthday and they put a little candle on my cake and it was just the best way to end an amazing dinner. I can’t wait to visit again once I am back in Jackson. I recommend making reservation in advance because this place is usually booked (but I did visit Jackson on high season around the holidays).

I went to here with buddy after the skiing at JAckson hole. The atmosphere, service, and food are gorgeous. The price is expensive, but it worth. It is very popular and you’d make a reservation a couple of days in advance.

Kampai is absolutely incredible. We sat at the sushi bar and had Chris (the head chef). Words cannot express how truly amazing this meal and experience was. We opted for the Omasake and would highly recommend. If you are in Jackson, this restaurant is a MUST! Pricey, but worth every penny. Will likely never have as high quality sushi ever again!

One of the best sushi restaurants in the world. Better then top New York / London Omakase sushi spots. This is a very special place with incredible staff, decor and of course, the freshest sushi with a modern twist you can find flown straight from Japan. Kampai accomplishes this amazing feat one mile above sea level! Thank you for an incredible experience!

The best sushi experience I’ve had! Food was amazing and the service was great. Was great to sit at the counter and watch the chef prepare each course. 100% will return when I come back to Jackson!

Great atmosphere and service, but don’t come here expecting great quality nigiri. Chef must have very small hands, because the amount of rice used for each piece was around half of a typical nigiri, while still being twice the price (and the rice was overseasoned, darkened by the amount of soy used). At $80 for 7 pieces of nigiri, I had much higher hopes

Absolutely amazing. Could not believe the quality of the sushi given that it is in Jackson, Wyoming. The service was excellent as were the cocktails. Highly, highly recommend.
