Their pad see ew doesn’t have wide rice noodles so it’s not actually pad see ew, it was more like a thicker lo mein. They give decent portions for decent prices, but the food is typically pretty bland. Not terrible for something cheap if you dump some sauce on it.

I have ordered from Amazing Wok for years and the former owners were great. The new owners seemed to keep up the quality until my recent order. I ordered General Tso’s with white rice. The man had such bad English skills that I had to repeat myself 3 times. When I hot home I had fried rice. I called back to complain and he still did not understand what I was saying. I asked to talk to someone who spoke English and he hung up on me. I went back and talked to him face to face and asked to speak with the manager. I finally talked to a young lady with acceptable English skills. After that, the chicken was subpar. Time to find a new Chinese restaurant.

First time trying with new owners had sweet and sour chicken which was same price as anywhere else around that we have ordered from and ditto on the portions. Thought it was very good. Also got the beef and broccoli which was great and the portion was huge 2 solid meals out of it for sure and I’ma big eater. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Comparable price, portion and taste wise than most restaurants around here if not better in the taste area which is most important

PLEASE NOTE: as of 3/4/23, the prices on the Amazing Wok’s website are woefully inaccurate and as far as I’m concerned, constitute false advertising. We were charged 44% above the prices advertised on Amazing Wok’s website, with some items being a full 75% higher than advertised ($3.75 compared to $2 on the menu). I don’t fault them in any way for increasing their prices, nor even as much as they have done (though $3.75 for one VERY subpar, bland egg roll is ridiculous). But to advertise exceptionally old and out of date prices and charge almost 50% more is ridiculous and very poor business practice. They need to update the website or match the advertised prices. It would take probably 5-10 minutes to upload a current menu to avoid this problem and the amount of time it has been seems to imply that they are purposely misleading would-be customers. If I ordered at a counter and they had years old prices advertised and they charged nearly 50% more, I’d expect a refund–it shouldn’t be any different online.
That said, the food and portions here are pretty good and definitely above average. Overall, food and portions alone, I’d rate it 3.5 or just below out of 5. Nothing I’ve had so far has been great, but most things are good. The egg rolls are bland and way overpriced and the dumplings were decent but have way too much wrapping. On average, prices are a bit high, but reasonable for today.
We probably won’t be going back because of the false advertising, and certainly won’t while the posted prices remain inaccurate.

Idk if they changed owners again or if they changed chef’s again but I just went for the last time. I spent $41.00 on general tso chicken, pork lo mein and crab Rangoon.
The tso’s chicken suddenly had brocoli in it ( less meat) and the chicken is practically all breading. The chicken itself tasted old. The lo mein used to be fantastic, this was slimey and barely had any taste except for a bad taste I could not identify. The crab Rangoon was hard, not light and crispy.
I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

This place has seriously gone downhill. I used to order from here a couple times a month. When they changed hands it was ok…but the last couple times I was unhappy. I decided to give them one more chance but never again.
Worst green curry I’ve ever tasted. The hot n sour soup is flavorless and full of cornstarch. The lomein used to be delicious and smokey now its just lumpy and blah.
Truly heartbroken I used to love this place.

Hands down the best fried rice in Pittsburgh. It’s so flavorful and my favorite! I always get it when I work in the south hills. I wish they had a restaurant in the north hills! Not sure what the negative reviews are about… If you ordered through door dash and they messed up,
that’s on door dash. The woman on the phone is always nice to me and I literally look forward to speaking with her. She always remembers me and asks how I am doing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I don’t believe half the negative reviews on here…
