Food was delicious! Mishap as they didn’t get one of the three orders made correctly. Took 45 minutes to get our order with only 4 people in front of us. Just a reminder that there is no seating as it’s take out only. You can walk to the waterfront and enjoy your meal.

It’s been a while since we’ve been back to this place and since we were in the area we thought we’d come back to have some amazing Hawaiian food like we remembered. We got 2 Portuguese musubi (literally 2 cut sausage pieces from a link in rice that seemed to look and feel like Minute Maid rice – so crunchy and dry!! AND LITERALLY FALLS APART AT THE FIRST BITE!!). I decided to try the Waimea poke – tuna was fresh and delicious, but they drowned the rice in poke sauce (rice was so dry even that sauce couldn’t make up for it) and there was literally half a small onion in this dish on top of green onions. Very disappointed since we raved this place to have the best Hawaiian food amongst a handful of places we’ve tried while traveling. I really hope their quality of food improves since their prices have increased as well!!!

The food was really really good. We got the huli chicken on top of fries and the Hawaiian chicken with curry lunch plate. Our family who hadn’t tasted this type of cuisine before really enjoyed it.

Different owner, different cook?? This place is not the same that you see on their website. Place is unkept, unfriendly, unprofessional. Food poorly made.Rice was hard, either old or don’t know how to cook rice. Never will I return, too bad so sad. Please clean, if you are in this kind of business. Would love to see improvements!!

Great hole in the wall. Service and quality is straight from the Island.

This used to be a go to restaurant. We ordered loco moco and the beef was dry and tasteless, the eggs were so bland they were unnoticeable, and the curry was just ok. The owner also doesnt give the employees their tips.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Waited 45 minutes for poke and 2 musubi’s, mind you it wasn’t busy at all. The two guys working were definitely HIGH on something. The place isn’t sanitary and certainly they weren’t either while handling the food. About 30 minutes in our poke was finally ready but they forgot to make a musubi and asked if we still wanted it? So we waited another 15 minutes for ONE and I could see them tweaking not knowing what they’re doing. We didn’t pay yet and thought about just walking away and we should of! The poke itself was not fresh I’m not even sure what it was and I found a hair in my musubi! My bf wouldn’t even let me eat it because it was that disgusting. Literally took a bite of each and just threw it away.. Such a waste. I felt so disgusted the rest of the day and that I would of gotten food poisoning. I would of went back but the food took so long and we were in a rush at that point.

So… Flipping… Good… Get the Korean Chicken if you like a little spice. Perfect amount of crunch on the chicken, great seasoning and sauces. It was so good I even ate all the rice.

Really random hole in the wall place. Felt a bit like a true Hawaiian place though; all the effort is placed in the food, not the decor or extras. The Loco Mico with spam was good (gravy was just right) and the huli huli chicken was tender too. The rice and mac salad could’ve used some work, but overall pleasantly surprised by this really random place.
