Possibly the worst airport bar I’ve ever been in. Pretty sure the sushi came from the self serve kiosk, just double the price. Wasabi was turning brown. All the cocktails were $18, and then had to add more money to add alcohol. Even then couldn’t finish it, ordered an old fashioned with Japanese Whiskey. Pretty sure it came with Fireball. You order on an app and they ask fur the top up front, so no chance to send it back. Guy who brought the food was nice though.

The noodle is still clumpy, not cooked! The broth is not hot, just enough warm, the taste is like an instant noodle, or maybe worse. The service is “too nice”, he even throw the straws for my ginger beer, he talk nicely though.

I have had terrible experiences at the Newark Airport. This was a shimmering beacon. Good Ramin and nice servers. You pay airport prices but what do you expect in an airport. Better than eating something heavy before a flight.

Pretty good food! I had low expectations but this was really good ramen and not just for an airport! Service was short staffed but ON TOP of it! Musical choices created an interesting atmosphere can’t really describe that more than ‘eclectic’ would come back!

This is in AN AIRPORT. Anyone expecting to be wowed by food in an airport has unrealistic expectations. It’s alright – the atmosphere is nice (chill music that helped me forget I was in AN AIRPORT……) And compared to $17 sushi rolls at some of the other places, the $20 for the Ramen is comparatively well-priced. Did i mention it’s in AN AIRPORT?

DO NOT GO HERE. Both servers were very rude asking us if we ordered yet. The whole time we where there the man was eating his pp and j while touching other people’s drinks. As he was chewing his food he picked up a lemon and put it inside someone’s cocktail. Shortly after getting us the wrong food and showing him the receipt he brought us our ramen with his thumb in the soup.

Giving this 2 stars only because I actually received food unlike many other reviewers…although it was 45 minutes after ordering. If you have a long layover and want the most expensive and blandest ramen you have ever eaten in your life be my guest. The broth lacked any ounce of flavor and the pork and scallions were the only things that really tasted like anything.

I hate the Newark airport with every fiber of my being. I have always had horrible experiences with it, and have virtually nothing positive to say about it. So, I felt compelled to write a review for this place since this was one of the few positive experiences I’ve ever had in the Newark airport, and especially given the other reviews. I found ordering via the QR code to be easy and service to be fairly quick given I ordered two sushi rolls. I’ll agree I didn’t love having to tip before any actual service was provided, but it also makes sense with the ordering mechanism in place. The food was surprisingly good since I had low expectations for airport sushi, and wasn’t outrageously priced (think I paid just over $30 total for both rolls including tax and 18% tip). Can’t speak for the ramen or anything else, but definitely recommend if you have a little time to relax and want some sushi.

QR code ordering system where you asked to top 20% before you receive any service or meal. We tipped regardless, of course. The drinks were $20 but came in a tiny class that was a little more than 1 swallow. Ordered a sushi roll that was 4 tiny pieces of sushi for $20+ dollars. We ended up also ordering from Wabi Sabi because their meals looked more substantial. We were fine with it because that seems to be the standard for airports these days but someone came up and asked how it was and we were honest. A few moments later a server (we had yet to see one until now) came up and offered a refund which we refused. She then started in on us about chasing away potential customers and how the prices, portion sizes and lack of service was the industry standard now. She was relentless and after a few minutes of her telling us what we did and didn’t say according to another employee who “heard it all” while we tried to explain what actually happened we felt so uncomfortable we left. Just know that if you eat here there is no ACTUAL service being provided so tip accordingly.
