Food was good! Server was friendly, we didn’t have to wait terribly long even though they were pretty busy. Will definitely be eating here again!

I actually wouldn’t give them 1 star but I wanted to share my experience. First of all the ambiance does not fit the menu pricing. Now mind u I don’t mind paying for a good meal. I’ve spent as much as $400. For a spectacular meal in LA. The hot green tea was the star of the highlight of the meal. The service was was very slow though no fault of the wait staff but, somewhat overly explained. The spring rolls were still cold in the center, confirming that they are frozen not made in house. I ordered the scallops and chicken. The scallops were flavorless and mushy, the chicken was sparse with little to no vegetables. Noodles were overcooked and oddly seasoned. I would not recommend this restaurant. Im just glad I didn’t order and sushi! Sorry, but a big thumbs down on this one!

Place was cute, waitress was such a sweetheart, we got a table pretty quick. The sushi is probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. We spent over $150 on different sushi rolls and sashimi as well as nigiri. The imitation crab was terrible, The raw salmon was not even close to real soft, delicate, buttery salmon. Over all I wouldn’t ever eat sushi here again, but the people that were working were very nice.

Always good food here. Very good quality sushi. They have things on the menu that you just don’t see at other places. I love the fact that I don’t have to drive to a big city to get delicious sushi anymore.

Very surprised by this strip mall sushi joint. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi and for the price point this is a great place to go! The rice was good, the fish was fresh and the miso soup was delicious. My son had the hibachi chicken and the portion was enormous! His meal was also quite good.

Kabuki has been a wonderful growing experience to watch. I like to go to places a few times before I write them off. I am thankful on this one. The first time I went in there I didn’t think I would ever be back. Food took almost an hour from order to table (which for the crowd wasn’t very understandable). Some food was cold and lets just say it wasn’t a good experience. So after a few months of growing and evolving I gave it another shot. Glad I did, the food has gotten so much better. The hibachi food is coming out fresher and tastier. I tried real sushi (not the rolls but actual Nigiri) and found it quite tasty. The only thing is from time to time there are rather large orders that come in and tie up the Itamae, so sometimes that can be annoying as you just want your sushi fix and are being constantly reminded that your order is coming up because of a large order. I think it will keep getting better, but baby steps at this point.

Like everyone else, they have good quality sushi and at a great price point. We were sad when Domo moved in Muncie, it just isn’t the same. Kabuki is our new go to and we love it.
