Our last day in ATL we decided to try this restaurant. The place was packed. The fried chicken wings were GREAT. The mac & cheese was dry( We prefer creamy Mac) and the peach cobbler crust was still very doughy. The sweet tea was a little too sweet even for my husband who loves super sweet tea. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Should we return we will try something different.

This is the only place where I get lemon pepper talipia with extra lemon pepper. I promise once you’ve had theirs baby you wouldn’t want it from anywhere else. Fried and seasoned to perfection. They have a variety of meat and side options . I’ve had just about everything there but my favs are definitely the fish the addictive sweet potato pie (they use to have oxtails) ribs on Friday and Saturday ( very tender) the yams, the cabbages are my grandma favs along with the cornbread muffins. I love their beef link sausage breakfast with hash browns and toast. The portion sizes are more than enough compared to other breakfast/soul food spots. You do not have to wait outside for your food. The fish is cooked to order. There is seating and tables for dining in. Restrooms and dining areas are usually ALWAYS clean. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. The workers there work really hard and fast. I will update with more pics of other foods but the fish is MY FAV.

Was visiting ATL, and did a Google search for Soul Food, and I’m so glad we tried this place! It’s a cafeteria line, you tell the staff what you want. Generous portions, wide variety of selections I got collard greens, cabbage, cornbread muffins & fried chicken- everything was delicious! Sweet tea was just right for my taste buds. Open 6 am to 5 pm. I went about 11:30 am on a Friday, and we had no problem parking in their lot. Next time in ATL, I will be back!

We stumbled upon this place by accident while passing through Atlanta. The line was long but it moved fast! There was so many foods to choose from. Every time I go to Atlanta now, I MUST stop here. I’ve never had a bad experience. The portions are a nice size too!

I Would give This black so called owned business no stars if I could, it’s so sad how we treat each other !! Went into this establishment and received some of the worst customer service and packaging ever first off they over charged me because the lack of comprehension at ordering from the line all the way to the size of drink I wanted then received my food in a broken tray that I just spent $19 on why would you pass a customer a broken tray ?? Yes presentation is everything especially when dealing with food !! They are giving people cheap made trays and cheap made cups which fell right out of my hand while exiting . They tall skinny guy with a very unprofessional and unfriendly face who looked annoyed with the register he was standing in front of and the fact that I asked for a additional tray to put my food in he was the one to approach me again I told him I just dropped my drink on the way out it just folded in my hand he makes the drink with a attitude and then tried to charge me a additional price for the drink that he watched drop at the door but a nice customer bought me the drink because he seen how rude the boy was being ..God is good though !!! would not recommend to anyone wow this use to be one of my favorite spots smh !!!

The staff was great. Everything looked good on the food line. I had the 3 fried chicken wings. Everything was tasty except the corn muffins. The lemon was sweet and I needed to mix with water. My friend loved his turkey wings.

Best breakfast for the price in all of the metro Atlanta area. The servers remember customers and their usual orders. Everyone is pleasant which means you start your day on a good note. Lunch options are phenomenal too. Marco and Kathy do a good job handling all concerns. I love this place!

I’m from Charlotte NC and me and some friends were in town for 2021 All Star weekend and we looked up the best soul food restaurant and this was the second place we came to. The first place had a two hour wait but we were closer. But thank God we found this place. We got one of everything and we tried it all and could not complain about anything, everything was Great. You have to get the Macaroni and cheese Dressing Pork chop Chicken everything was good. We will make this a stop when we’re in town.

Everything was ehhh. The dressing was definitely stove top stuffing.. the Mac n cheese couldn’t hold weight to any fast food mac smh the greens were decent and the Turkey wing very tender but no flavor. The peach cobbler should be ashamed to be made in GA. watery and no flavor. The best parts of the meal were the cornbread and the lemonade. Will not return
