Friendly staff. Clean place. Had the Fried Chicken, it was cooked to perfection, not dry at all. Mashed potatoes, okra and green beans were all also fantastic, seasoned great, I didn’t even have to put salt & pepper on anything!! Will be back when we are in the area again. I love country cooking and this hit the spot for sure.

We ate at K-Bobs shortly after it opened and we were so impressed..the remodeled decor was very nice, the staff friendly and competent, and the food more than exceptional. We stopped to congratulate the owner on the way out. Today, just two weeks later, we went back and it was an entirely different experience.We asked for rolls three times before the waitress told us she couldn’t bring them because she didn’t have a basket. (Put them on a plate…) The garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic and were just cut up baked potatoes. We were overcharged for a regular salad bar instead of a senior salad bar. But the worst thing was the drinks. When we went the first time we ordered a coastal breeze which the bartender hand delivered, and it was excellent, following the standard recipe of rum, orange and lemon juice, a layered,garnished, attractive drink. Today we ordered the same drink: the first one came out totally dark pink in color with no ice, strawberry and coconut flavored, and in a martini glass. The second one came out in a beer glass and was bright green and full of crushed ice. It was a sour nasty tasting thing made of (probably) sweet and sour mix or lime juice with an unknown (if any) alcohol in it. The waitress did comp us the second drink because it was too nasty to drink. That is just not acceptable. I hate to see this place go downhill so quickly. My pork chop was excellent though. 🙂

Waited over an hour and didn’t get our food. Several other tables around us received theirs and they were seated AFTER we placed our order. Very, very disappointing. First and last time we will give our business. After we said we were leaving they comped our salads and drinks. The waitress (Megan) however was very friendly. But the kitchen needs to get it together.

Ordered the Smokehouse Burger and fries, but added the stuff from the big cheesy fries to my fries that come with the burger. First time ordering there and I was impressed. We made a to-go order and it was ready within about 20 mins. There were two total Smokehouse Burgers w/ fries, a Philly Cheese Steak w/ fries, and a Chicken Fried Steak w/ mashed potatoes. All fries had the extras and my reason for 4 stars would be that not all fries seemed to be created equally. As well as they don’t really have the best mashed potatoes. Not horrible, but different for sure. Still, it’s really some pretty good food in fast food kinda times. Definitely would eat here again and again.

We waited 45 minutes for the server to tell us that something was wrong with thier computer. i have worked the resturant business in the past and provding the reason why the error was made without fixing the problem is not a good model. I would have expected the staff to realize that after numerous orders not going throught the kitchen they would havenguessed theybhad an issue . The manager provided us a giftcard, but I was not after free food, I expected an attempt to ask us to stay rather than just give a card and say sorry. Very unprofessional and it is such a shame that bad service is assumed to be compensatedwith a card that says better luck next time! I was looking forward to a great meal at a good wait time, but it was such a shame!

Actually went on Tuesday 05/03/16 for my sons 4th bday, for our very 1st time & it was the perfect choice. Considering this SMALL town doesn’t have very many. It had a “home” feeling, food was on point;delicious, most important of all our server Megan (she NEEDS a raise ) was lovely & with such great customer service. Thank God! The family next to us who were also celebrating a bday was NOT too happy All in all we loved it, hoping it’ll be the same when we go back for more

The Steak was over cooked…The Chicken fried Steak had no flavor… The baked potatoe was burned… The salad bar needed more attention… No dinner rolls with our meals either, because they burned them… Our server NoraG kept coughing and not once did she wash her hands or use germ ex…GROSS…
